They have to fix the fucking track and F1 should refuse to come back here until it’s done.

When I saw the news this morning, I was sad but I expected there to be mixed feelings because of the UN speech, whether I agree with the strong feeling or not. However, he didn’t investigate My Lai. His boss gave him a letter that was a rant against how the Vietnamese were being treated overall, but with no specific…
I think people are mistaken in thinking his speech somehow started the war. We were going over there to kill people no matter. The UN speech was about how much public support is was going to have: PR. Acting as though he single-handedly, start a war is silly.
This place posts way too many Tesla articles, but I know they get more clicks. That said, this is hilarious and shouldn’t be taken to seriously. Tesla’s never ship on time and any date Musk gives should have three-five years added.
Still expecting them to pull a Cadillac and turn Chrysler into their electric luxury line.
You really wrote this post based on a press release instead of the report? I’d like to use data, instead of examples of what people didn’t like.
Manufacturers want their spending to be in some way road relevant. V10s aren’t it. Technology will keep moving forward, whether or not certain fans do. And F1 should always be the peek of technological development, which is what Vettel is arguing. There’s no point in remaining stagnant for the next five years.
Precheck has been included with Global Entry. This site seems to be getting less and less useful.
Not sure what to think of this; Back in July they announced they’d be producing an adapter for non-Telsa cars to use Superchargers. So, are they producing two and not making a big deal about this one?
Never ended.
The smaller engine weighed about 70 pounds less; I don’t think an overall 2.5% weight reduction (for the car) was worth a 20% HP reduction. Also, they switch to aluminum a couple of years in.
I think the car was pretty perfect the way it was. That said, an electric conversion would be interesting, if you could get Tesla-like performance out of it.
The 2.7 had 200HP and dropped a bit a few years after debut. Maybe it would’ve been a good option at launch, but the 250HP version of the 3.5 was still the better option. It’s clear from the article that the transmission was more of the culprit.
...what?
Sounds like he’s simply taking the opportunity to speak as a person, and not the character that everyone has gotten used to.
Correct, if the person actually “blames” the tools, which he didn’t.
That pic with their kids is so cute. Happy for him and his family.
I figured there was more to the story, but nothing here really changes anything.
He’s not blaming the drivers at all, and that insinuation really just hurts the overall point. Just change the rules so they have to race half of the race to get points. If you can’t get to half distance, then it was too dangerous for you to be considering in the first place.
He did well and the video does a fair job of explaining his results. The team had stability and, if he’d been willing to take another one deal, they probably would’ve brought him back for another year. If you put another driver in that seat, would they have snatched a championship away from Hamilton? Maybe, but I…
