Yeah, I’m not agreeing with these prices, especially since housing shot up this year. My apartment is raising prices $500 a month.

...you mean like he does on a regular basis?

There were vaccination mandates and masks were by staff at all times, and by guests in certain areas.

I agree that people shouldn’t be popping them on and off, but these people are outside; I’m not going to hammer them for this.

Jay would have to form an investment group and that would be messy, but I could see it. Bezos would have to liquidate assets, which would take planning but could be done; I’m just not sure he wants to run a rocket business and own a team.

I wouldn’t do it, but I’m not going to shit on those who do. This just seems to be finding something else to be pissed about.

I don’t care if the dinner was with Buffett, you’re not going to be able to do anything someone tells you without capital. Take the money and hit up a financial planner.

I think you’re missing the part where Toyota spent years trying to convince us (and their government) that hydrogen was the way to go.

Why? This is a story about the effect Covid has had on the schedule.

Wouldn’t it go where the gas tank was?

The disclaimers you pointed out above, clearly describe that the cars cannot drive themselves and need more features, as well as regulatory approval.

You would think he’d learn his lesson by then.

The point seems a bit lost here. If I’m planning a diversity session to teach others about a certain group of people, the person to represent them should come from that group. Worrying about dismissing others seems arbitrary. If the goal is to teach and we all know it looks bad to choose someone who didn’t live those

It isn’t being dismissive, it’s the truth. Being a doctor that studies female anatomy, doesn’t mean you can give a dissertation on what it’s like to be a woman. While empathy is nice, it doesn’t translate into conveying the life experiences of a certain person or group, if the person doing the explaining hasn’t
