Also out of the cornucopia of late 70s reggae came dub poetry. Performance poets over dub beats, originated mostly outside of Jamaica I think from countries with large Caribbean populations. Linton Kwesi Johnson is the most successful.

Great stuff. George Harrison would’ve luved it. He was big ukulele fan/collector. Did you ever see Martin Scorsese’s 2011 doc G.H.: Living in the Material World? Nice scene of Harrison & Jeff Lynne messing around on said instruments plus little bit of back-story re: his ‘ukulele & gardening obsessions’ etc.

Here it is... I enjoy the St. Anger album. It’s grown on me very easily. For me, it’s something that I can listen to when I need to blow off some steam. At times, it’s been therapeutic for me. The whole track list is a playlist of mine whenever I workout. It just works
