Again, I have to put it out there: read the Matthew Stover novelization. It’s one of the best Star Wars books I’ve ever read. Really gives so much more weight to what happens onscreen. You shouldn’t have to read additional material in order to fully enjoy the cinematic experience, but this one is worth it.
