Please, make an article outlining how to change blinker fluid. My BMW has been telling me it’s low for ages now...

Whew, just in time. This project seems to have gotten away from me a little bit.

Of course, now that you bring up engine reliability, the ZL1 will likely have a slightly de-tuned LT4, haha, so that might be cause for some concern. I think it’s really only been a handful of engines that had serious issues, and then some other folks in really hot conditions experienced some heat soak after multiple

Shoot, another year or so and I’d happily take the more “cushy” next-gen ZL1, because honestly I care a whole lot more about straight line speed and daily driveability, with a nice interior(LOVE the new Camaro’s) and enough gadgets(cooled seats, adaptive cruise, android auto, etc.) to make me feel like I got my $’s

He’s been a longtime customer, and even sponsored by Greddy a few times, so he was one of the ones that did some testing on their original T518Z based turbo kit. He prefers turbos for the car, but hes also running Greddy’s 2.1L stroker kit so he can afford to chase a little more performance higher in the RPM band

Don’t let that scare you away man. I’ve driven a couple of boosted Toyobaru’s and they’re awesome. I think right now, the key with that car, is just don’t go crazy. Ive got a good buddy with a boosted BRZ that daily drives it (he does have another car though if necessary). It only makes about 260whp, but IMO, that’s

Umm.. it’s 460hp.. what did you expect would happen when you stabbed the throttle at the grip limit??

I feel like the Miata and ATS-V are the only 2 cars being continually tested week after week here in Jalop land.

They can be plenty reliable if it’s done right. The right people, right car to begin with, the right mods, and the right tune. Mess up any of those and you’re fucked. Get ‘em all right and reliability will surprise you.

Prices will be better next year once they’re not making only 500 of them. Still will be a lower-volume production run than most performance cars, but because they’re all manual(sorry for the anti-auto hipsters, but it’s a reality even in the high performance market) and around $50K to start, even at this level of

Give it nine months or a year. They’ll be reasonable as soon as the “gottahaveits” get theirs. Years ago, I went to buy an SS Camaro and the markup was insane. Sure enough, they were marked down within the year.

Now playing

With prayer-based boost-to-pass, called the Hail Mary? That would be cool. Actually, closed cockpit survivability of the type that allowed Alan McNish to walk away from his horrendous crash at LeMans is a pretty good benchmark.

And yet one more reason we need to get rid of dealership protection laws.

We’re fucked, basically. Worse because I know if I got behind the wheel of one of these, I’d probably agree to any markup that doesnt double the pricetag...

There are and I see Ferraris at the independent shops all of the time. It doesn’t make the bill come out to that much less. Maybe it’s $9500 instead of $11,900. The car is on the lift for like a week with the whole drivetrain on the floor.

It’s not a great idea to buy one of these cars, extend the maintenance interval, skip a bunch of things a responsible owner would do, and then try to sell it. These aren’t thrift items. They’re money pits for enthusiasts. There is no such thing as owning an exotic without spending six figures on maintenance and

oh god i don’t wanna think about that:( i hope ford sell this engine as crate i just want it.

Ah, yes, the DeMuro Drop. Expect to see similar in R32 values next year.

Things I would never do to a car like that:
