That sounds like disaster in the making...Be careful down there!

It looks like a bad one. What is the speed limit there?

I hope you didn’t get reamed too badly on the price of the 912. Great car, but I can’t believe the prices that car is fetching these days. It was not that long ago that you could steal these things because they were looked down on for having a lowly 4 cylinder...

You sound like someone that knows the risks, budgets accordingly and accepts the outcome.

It does make sense to me because being penny wise and pound foolish is the flippers mentality, although even if he was planning to keep the car he may have done the same thing. Basically, if something sounds too good to be true, most people still wish it to be true, and choose plausible denial instead of facing facts.

Torch writes good stuff. Well researched, interesting and relevant.

I would still rather buy direct from Apple, and I have never seen anything at Best Buy cost less than direct from Apple.

Our local Subaru dealership is owned be an automotive group of 10 more dealerships who in turn is owned by a regional automotive group that has more than 60 dealerships. Tell me what is ma and pa small business about that.

If a dealership was willing to send someone to my home and fix my car, even if it took a couple days they would have my business for life. Contrast that with the story in Motor Trend about having to leave their long term test Corvette at a GM dealer for two weeks before they could even track down a technician

Like any good work of satire, and I think Mike Judge would be the first to admit this, there is enough “truth” in the movie to make it relevant, and terrifying. But I did not not jump to anything he said in the move as an argument for mass sterilization, that is just insane, and kind of lazy on the part of the writer

The soulless monsters are those that either refuse to return them to the upright position after being told by the flight attendant to do so. Happened last week right in front of me. The flight attendant just gave up after telling him twice. Or the other neat trick is to return it, and as soon as the attendant leaves

Then it will be interesting to see how the 570 series does if they continue to discount the 650 so heavily.

Pretty certain they sell every single one, and quickly too. This 570 series will be a home run for them because at or under 200k it is much more affordable. “Affordable” being a relative term, of course.

Yes, but I would get this one.

Right?? I am so glad I did not have the money to buy the 570S! Only bad news is I can’t afford this either....

If a person could afford the 570S, they should not think twice about spending a little more for this. Simply beautiful, inside and out.

The image thing is secondary to me, hell, I drive Subaru’s. And I know these days its very possible to make a big car handle extremely well. A 5,000 lb Bentley Continental GT can be almost as fast on a circuit as a Corvette. But I value lightness for the intangibles. A lighter, smaller car just feels better. Not

I was looking at used Porsche Cayman’s the other day online, and I could not believe the majority of them had had automatics. I mean, no offense, but I get an auto in a Cadillac, or a Panamera, but in the Cayman?

I would have picked the ATS as well, for all of the reasons you stated, especially the lighter weight difference of about 500 lbs.

No, I get it. Sometimes that’s okay. Sometimes I feel the same way about my WRX; its not perfect, but in the context of what I paid for it, I am more than willing to put up with a couple niggles or quirks here and there. One thing it has been though, besides fun, is dependable.
