Nissan needs to refresh this car in a major way soon. Make it lighter and better handling, and it can be a winner again no problem.
I have owned a BRZ for over a year and a half now, with zero problems or issues. I think depreciation has slowed down a little bit looking at used prices, however, I have no intention of selling it anytime soon, so I am not very concerned about it.
I would hold judgment on resale for the Focus RS to see how reliable it is first. Also, resale on the Fiesta ST has not been very good to date, but the RS might be more immune to that compared to other Ford products. All the more ridiculous when you consider that AWD is standard on every Subaru(except the BRZ) and most of those cars can be had for around 30k.
