I had to call the dealership. So embarrassing.

My first "WTF" experience with a VW was actually getting the MT to go into reverse on my first test drive. Had never encountered a pull-up shifter before that. Was always used to it being on the lower right (Japanese) or upper left (German, American).

I met Jean Jennings at the beginning of June 2011. I was sitting at an interview (fresh out of college, hoping to be one of AutomobileMag.com's new Associate Web Editors) with two senior-level editors when Ms. Jennings whisked in clutching Evo's 2011 Speed Issue. She leaned against a filing cabinet, flipped through a

It's astonishing how few people here understand or care about the concept/principle of due process. You're perfectly fine with bona fied kangaroo courts run by legal novices and armchair lawyers ruining people's lives on scant evidence in order to further political aims. And why? Because "rape culture." Fuck you.

I had luck with Budget rental last year. I needed a car for 4 days to go to OH from VA. Turns out it was cheaper to get the car for a whole week then just the couple days I needed it. $450 for the week for a 25 year old male. It was the first time I rented a car so I wanted to make it special and booked a 2014 Mustang

Like this?

I'm not afraid of snakes, but I will back over a cottonmouth or copperhead just to make sure the job is done.

25,000 mile ITR time!!!!!!!

one of my cousins had a 95 GSR integra with a B20 swap and I used to hear stories from him and his friends about cars or parts getting stolen after meets and things like that. I'm surprised nobody took his integra, probably because it was on jackstands for a year and a half in the garage.

I'm fine with this, as long as it has three pedals. . .

"I used to tell everyone that I'd never drive a car. I said, 'Swear to God, man, you'll never see me in no cage. I was born free, not a cager.' But recently I had a change of heart."

How many lives were saved by this?
I am not joking, last year we had an old lady make a kid an orphan when she drove into a restaurant and killed his parents and a waitress. She was never charged with any crime. She only lost her license.

But don't white feminists do this same thing when called on their bullshit? I don't understand making fun of someone for doing something that you do yourself.

You're absolutely right. It's weird that gifts aren't okay but the free automaker trips are. It's not really a clean line at all.

It's not so clean, honestly. I'd do away with press trips entirely, but we have this unequal balance wherein the only way to get the early access we want is to go on a trip, and they make the trips so damn expensive it's very unlikely to pay your way to all of them (Like, I'm not hiring a Sherpa or a helicopter or all

This is your daily reminder that the European Hondas are way better than our Hondas.

Indeed. As someone who is planning an engine swap for a car right now, I've heard lots of opinions on what engines/trans combinations to use, among other things. But the one constatnt that that doesn't change among those whom I've spoken with is this piece of advice right here:
