The Datsun is bad-ass. I'm impressed they were able to find a 510 in Chicago nearly more than by the swap itself. I wasted my childhood in those alleys, but back then everyone was into Fox bodies and Camaros, I approve of the apparent change.

My mom managed a flower shop there before I came along. She got mugged in the parking lot twice and quit. She remained friends with the owners who had a penthouse in Lake Point Tower that I vaguely remember attending a dinner at when I was four or five.

Yeah people took the unreliability thing pretty personally. I'm glad you and others have had good fortune with yours, they're wonderful cars (I may buy one myself soon), but unreliability rumors don't come from nothing. Cheers to you for taking the plunge, I wish you continued good luck with it in the future.

Yeah, Josh over at Petrolicious has a nice 20V-equipped one and it makes me miss mine like nuts. Thinking of biting the bullet and just building shell-up. I'm probably getting way in over my head. We'll see if it happens.
