goddess, thank you for this. It's pervasive and disgusting what these young girls are learning about being women. I have several young girls in my family who are being educated by pop culture and music videos and what it has done to their self worth isn't pretty.

I have to admit, on first glance I clicked the article because I wanted to read some fluff on how hot this guy is. It kind of ruined my day to read what it was really about so I'm just going to focus on his arms and sigh.

Yes, I do this instinctively as well. I don't force my children to hug or kiss anyone. My son has just started this adorable thing before bedtime where he gives me a kiss or a hug but not both. He'll say, "Tonight you get a kiss Mommy but not a hug". It's so cute to see him exercising his freedom to choose.
