Thats a BIG thing customers miss. Most domestics tell you to fuck off if it’s out of warranty. Usually imports throw you some kind of a bone out of warranty.

This is one of those boutique car flipper-dealers. They either took it as a trade or picked up at an auction.  Probably for about 20k.  They'll try to sell it for some crazy high interest rate to the first chump that shows up.  Dealers like this are the same scumbags that Jalopnik has been doing stories about.

Yes.  If it's a good deal and the price makes up for anything that car might need.  Who cares.  If the seller doesnt acknowledge this then that's a different story.

Yea it does look removable in the one pic, even though many will never remove it. IMHO no removable top is what made the FJ a flop.

You are right, assuming dealers are a desirable place to work. Most dealers have terrible benefits and pay.  It's cheaper to hire techs like this guy.
