Confession: I rented the first Transformers from Xbox Live, and it did look absolutely amazing. Something about the detail of Megan Fox's short-shorts cheek leak. And gears, moving parts, etc.

I actually really like it, I've enjoyed my HTC HD7 wheras I've mostly tolerated my previous phones. If it had a robust, well organized app store, it'd really be the bees knees. That said, I don't need my phone to do a million things, and I'm quite happy. The interface is very clean and intuitive, especially as a Zune

If you're going to continue to dress provocatively, Criterion really can't be held accountable. I'm having some impulse control issues, myself, to be perfectly honest.

Aardman Animation already sounds kind of pirate-y. In a perfect world, this would go head-to-head with the Pirates of the Carribean de l'année and put that monster out of its (our?) misery.

Riddles are abound tonight.

'Entire characters' sounds like a good idea, but they're just as hard as screenplays!

Actual Windows 7 Phone owner here, thanks and keep up the slow trickle! I sure am glad to see that MS has shifted their game support over to WP7 from Zune... whew!

Even though it truly hurts my brain reading Zack Snyder interviews, and even though there are times when it seems like Snyder might not completely understand the material, the film is so faithful that it mostly works. Snyder really does make striking images, and was working with great material, so the film looks

I almost bought Transformers on HD DVD (yeah, I know) many times, but ultimately resisted. I've never been tempted to buy it or the sequel on Blu Ray. Get a Life. I mean, get a copy of BBC2's Life, or Planet Earth, instead.

It's the least nuanced, least enjoyable-by-adults movie Pixar has made by a mile (heh), but little kids love Cars with the passion of a thousand suns. Probably as they get old enough to develop actual taste, they still carry that love with them. See also: The Phantom Menace.

According to Wikipedia, Thor has already grossed over $133 million (it's been open in Australia since April 17, not sure where else it opened before the U.S.), so I think Thor will make back its budget before the night is through.

Though I'm sure as in everything there is variation, it's been said many many times that the actors that are typecast as villains or famous for playing them are some of the nicest people in Hollywood. And it's to Hamilton's credit that her performance was terrifying.

Sure, we could (and have! and will!) argue about what isn't on the list (Tetris?!), but I'm very pleased with what made it on to the list: in addition to the no-brainers, a lot of surprises (I'd forgotten about Spy Vs. Spy completely, but I loved it), lots of superior sequels where the original would have been the

Anamorphic lenses are just one method of filming in widescreen; rest assured, the Blu Ray editions will maintain the theatrical aspect ratio (2.35:1, if memory serves).

Foooooooooooooooooooooooox! Wait, no... Foxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx! Uh, Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahx? I mean, !

Sounds like you might need a little breather...

I meant what I said, and said what I meant...

The Shocker's lair... a perineal favorite!

Sony isn't responsible for the breach, but they are responsible for their security, which was inadequate, especially considering their deliberate provocation of hackers. Sony didn't steal anything, but their decisions have put their customers at risk, and are keeping their developers from selling dlc.

I haven't even finished the article yet... as soon as I saw "Wahboom Bada Boom" in all its glory, I felt compelled to hit ctrl-f and see if anybody had commented about it. It sounds more like an interjection than a sound effect to me, though. As in, "So I wuz walkin' along, minding my own business, when Wahboom
