@deanbmmv: Have you thought of adding a 'speakup' tag? Not sure if Kotaku would run your comment as an article as it's largely a link to the forum, but the guide is incredible, and it deserves the exposure.

@Manly_McBeeferton: Well at least you're being civil. I added the last bit after scanning through the comments posted while I typed the rest. I've had an HD set for about 3 years, and I bought it shortly after buying my 360. But there are commenters blaming people for being unable to read the text in their game,

@sentroshi: Check out Mr. Peanut's Na'vi-skin leggings! Rrowr!

Isn't this still affecting half of all console owners? This was somewhat understandable early in the console generation (Dead Rising), and at least Rare had the decency to patch Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts. This doesn't affect me, and by all means, if you can afford to upgrade to HD, it's great. But to show such

@YellowBanana: I love my 360. And it's the only console I currently own. But if I were sitting on $300, I'd be tempted to buy a PS3 and hope for red rings, if I had any time left on the 3-year RROD warranty.

@ceilingFANBOY: I agree. Planet Earth is beautiful, and because it's shot on HD video cameras rather than film, the images are uncannily clear. And the quality of the camera work, research, music and voiceover would make it a must see documentary even on a 19" black and white set. Must own.

@deanbmmv: Brilliant, Dean! Looks like all that advanced research in starred vs. unstarred commenting has paid off. Really a must read for new visitors, and I feel motivated to have some of those delicious #hashtags for breakfast in the morning.

@rayne117 - Is Done Achievement Whoring: I was so excited when I figured out blocks would not be falling! A wonderful tribute to and deviation from the tradition that extends from Tetris through Lumines. And $3 out of the $5, which is a steal, btw, goes to charity. Well done.

My budget for games is busted until FFIII arrives to make me chagrin from ear to tear, so I'll be Returning to Ostagar, playing some 1 vs. 100 and fitting in some Chime.

@Pheermee: Oh man, to this day if my computer freezes up at work and I have to try 'turning it off and on again', I feel like Mr. Resetti is going to come for me. I do think the Mr. Resetti character, while perhaps the most aggravating character ever, is brilliant. Kudos to whoever came up with that, I've not seen

@yantelope: Camn't taghk... migh mouf id full ov seamen...

@jersalv1: Do it, f- it's really great. And hard. With personality to spare. and it's only 5 freakin' simoleons. Do it.

@VincentGrey: I'll be the bespectacled gentleman in the cut-off jeans shorts.

@D-K: Educational, definitely. Where is my Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?

I want to point out that even though I posted earlier disagreeing with the conclusion of the original Stick Jockey piece, I quite enjoyed reading it. It was, as Olbermann acknowledges, a very well written article, and a fascinating slice of history.
