@electroshockwave: What the hell does it mean? Isn't a cormorant a bird? Is this along the lines of an 'upper decker' or 'dirty sanchez'?

@Mrmirakle: Viva Pinata is amazing, don't be embarrassed! I think I still have DOAX2 somewhere, though I did get rid of the horrible multiplayer minigame collection (on the 360, sequel to an XBox game) the name of which I'm unable to remember, but which has to be one of the worst things I've ever played... the

@yourcitylovesyou: I liked the original. I wonder if you can connect two DS's using 1 DS10 & 1 DS10+ cartridge...

@yourcitylovesyou: There are a lot of bands I'd like to see (Dillinger Escape Plan, Dirty Projectors, Owen Pallett, Thom Yorke????, Baroness, LCD Soundsystem, 2 Many DJ's & Faith No More, for instance... and, yeah, Jay-Z, OK... but I agree the overall lineup doesn't seem as impressive, and I was thinking about going,

@PurelySatanic: I am expecting lots of eggplant and salmon, somehow. Whoops, now I'm hungry.

@Kobun: I agree he won't be up and running overnight, but there's no reason he couldn't accept a low salary initially to burn NBC. One thing that intrigues me, we know Leno's returning soon, probably after the Winter Olympics. Will they build him a new set? Surely not the hot mess from the 10 o'clock show? Conan's

I'm pretty sure it's Conan's choice to work or not work. He makes $32 million & $8 mill for his employees, and he can work elsewhere, but whatever he's paid is subtracted from what NBC owes him. Not sure there's anything keeping him from putting on a show for a $1 and raking in the millions from NBC...

@ngamesnick: Oh glorious, tasty banana... So delicious, yet so fraught with complicated, bloody history. On the other, other hand, you are so helpful in demonstrating proper condom use.

Wow, Super Monkey Ball sure knows how to pick sponsors with controversial histories, known for manipulating local politics and mistreating workers from the 19th century forward....

@Antiterra: Sorry about the wall of text, it's hard to express yourself well when you're supposed to be working, especially when you're on the phone and tacking on a sentence here or there.

The debate over Demon's Souls has made me regret, more than any other event this console generation, not owning a PS3. People I respect feel so strongly, and cogently and convincingly argue their points. Owen, your anti-intellectual argument disappoints me, though I don't begrudge you your conclusion. I would argue

Way to sniff out an interesting story, and kudos to the guys who put in the work to get all those names 'in the game'.

@Outkastprince: The only thing I can add, is to make sure you give to a charity that you're familiar with, as their are scammers out there making a quick buck from people's goodwill during a time of tragedy. And go ahead and post those easy ways to donate by texting to your facebook/myspace/twitter account. You'll get

@ThirzaLepidus: In the area where you find Sten locked in a cage, there's a guy (Tegrin, maybe) in the bar, who also asks you to collect 3 poisons, who sells flasks...

@incubushead: I wouldn't call it the best, but I do quite enjoy it. It's... cozy. And nerdy, and funny. I usually have at least one fit of jealousy over a t-shirt or belt buckle per episode.

@Showmeyomoves!: A young person, cheeks flushed, moves their hands over the body of the object of their affection, the rush of love, the thrill and fear of lust overwhelming the senses, feelings of greater power than any they've yet experienced causing the universe to contract until there is only the one and the

Bustin': Feels good, man.

@(Starman) #number258: The last thing I played on my computer earlier was Dirty Projectors backstage playing 'The World Comes to an End' for members of The Roots so that they can wrap their minds around the amazing 'hocketing' vocal technique used in some of the DP's songs.

@VincentGrey: What about the new Off Topic threads?

@Rampage: I only buy a physical guide when there is just too much to learn and remember, and I need some sort of reference (I'm thinking of Viva Pinata). I don't mind making notes to figure out a puzzle, but I don't want to have to refer to pages and pages of handwritten notes on a regular basis, just to play a game
