NP for a pristine time capsule, especially if you were a 70's or 80's kid with fond memories of being carted around in something similar. Just looking at the pictures, I can smell the interior when opening the door on a warm day and almost feel the vinyl on my skin. To somebody, this is a memory box of vacations,

I would not, but someone definitely will. The care some people take with their vehicles is inspiring. NP.

If that oil change sticker from 1987 is accurate, then this car really could have only 39,000 miles on it. The condition of the paint and interior is so good that it would not surprise me at all.

Good god this thing is glorious! I just don’t think the market is there yet for an old ‘Yota wagon to fetch this much money.

That’s so nice price I would be shocked this hasn’t sold already. Damn shame Mitsu gave up on the fun stuff, it did it really well.

What do you think, is this Eclipse a bargain at that $14,000 asking?”

2001 VAG products were not known to be the most reliable in the world... far from it. With stage 3 upgrades, that reliability number goes down which I don’t know if you can have negative numbers when it comes to reliability.

I was just going to comment that the 76 model is FAR more desirable, and I’d happily pay $22k for one of those.

I was thinking more commissioner of Hazzard County.

Thank you for that completely unprompted and very specific denial, which is in no way suspicious at all.

The only Cadillac convertible I would own would be a 59 Biarritz with epic tailfins or a 76 El Dorado with a 500 ci V8 and a hood long enough to land aircraft on it.

Cant agree with you there. It’s a semi modern RWD V8 sedan. Not a lot of those available cheap. But! This one shouldn’t be crushed so much as used for parts. This thing has had a hard life, then modded besides? Not to mention the “cold air intake” is sucking engine bay air because there’s no air box. Says lazy to me,

The BFGoodrich G-force series of tires is actually really good.

this would be a perfect garage mate to my ‘86 CRX Si. Gets a rock solid NP from me!

Voted nice price, but there’s now way this is a legit ad. Has to be a scammer.

Things that exist but I have never seen in person: Pontiac Sunbird Turbo ragtop with a stick. Fuck it money for that, NP for that alone.

The second car I purchased was a ‘94 Cavalier…certainly not turbo, but the car was perfectly fine. They looked pretty cool too (certainly better than every CUV that’s on the road now). Especially with the body kit on the z24 - which a friend had as a white convertible. That car was pretty sweet for 20 year old me.

NP-for the wheels!

Except the Solara is the ugliest of any of the cars we’re talking about here.

Aaaand it’s already gone. Looks like there was a bit of disconnect between who here wants one , and how much someone who actually does will pay for it.
