Momo or not, there’s nothing nice about replacing the air bag with a non-air bag steering wheel. Plus the center of the wheel doesn’t even cover the column behind it. And Recaro or not, there’s definitely nothing nice about mis-matched front seats. This thing is $3K at best. ND

Was thinking the same thing. Driven to the moon and back, modded to hell and back, at best worth 1/3 of the asking. 

That Cobalt SS also beat the Honda S2000CR at CD’s Lightning Lap at VIR, and and it held the FWD record for 8 years. Be a smarmy condescending ass if you like, that’s pretty much Jalopnik’s brand, but this is a serious performance car with very low miles, and it’s very rare. 

$28K isn’t as ridiculous as it sounds considering the mileage, condition and rarity. Would I pay this? Oh hell no. But I can see Dean Team VW getting north of $20K.
