I might go a bit higher, but no way this is worth more than four figures.

If Spielberg puts a Mach-E in the remake I will gouge by eyeballs out with a spoon and set them on fire rather than watch the movie

This is perhaps the most sensible comment I’ve ever come across on this site

I don’t understand the massive ND vote, these cars are comfortable and are built to do hundreds of thousands of miles.

Buy it, clean it up a bit, drive and enjoy that sweet comfortable GM cruiser ride for a year or two. Flip it for more than this in a few years. NP

Front turn signals aren’t connected? No. This thing is shot-full of electrical gremlins. ND at half the price.

Maybe if it was a V6 manual in a better color it might be worth half this price. But a 4-cylinder auto in THE most boring-assed color ever? ND

And if you’re going to go through the trouble of repainting the thing, why choose the most boring color possible?

The Buick Grand National’s “angular styling and straight six engine?

Look Debbie Downer, we know it doesn’t have airbags. Just drive sensibly and you’ll be fine. It’s a classic truck-based SUV and a damn fine one. NP

So a VW body on a Jeep chassis with a Buick turbo V-6 but the turbo’s not hooked up and it doesn’t run unless you’re sitting on it pouring starter fluid down the intake? All this for only $5K?

Yeah, those never catch fire

Stanced within an inch of it life. ND

Pretty sure the trucks were empty of food during the roach bombing, and surfaces wiped down before serving food. But whatever.

Even if it was impeccably maintained with a binder full of service records, it’s still a 35yo econobox with 70hp. Not collectible in any way. It’s cute sure, and the 2022 used car market is still a bit crazy, but no. Price is still at least $3K too much. ND

Is it a hatch? I don’t see how you access the trunk ... um, boot.

Anyone considering buying this needs a thorough psychiatric inspection

“The exhaust is fucked-up, and also it doesn’t come with wheels”

$1,500 is still a bit steep, but if it moves under its own power and has SOME kind of wheels with tires included in the sale, maybe.

Forget $41.2K for repairs, there is NO amount of money that can fix this thing.
