And instead of making a snarky comment about Spielberg directing a Columbo episode, maybe watch  his first feature film Duel and think about what he might bring to a Bullitt movie.

Among other issues with the Wankel is poor fuel economy. Friend had an RX-8 for years, then when he got married and kids came along he traded it for an F-150 4x4 with the 2.7 Ecoboost. He says the truck gets better mileage.

I just watched a Doug Demuro video the other day where he drove an RX-8. Other than how it drove he hated it. One of the quirks he pointed out were the idiot sun visors full of holes.

Show me on the doll where Cadillac touched you

It’s not a project, it was professionally done by ASC. Flawless inside and out, and just damn gorgeous. A solid NP all day. Can’t believe it’s not on BaT where it’d likely bring twice the ask here.

Fucked-up dash, mystery seats, cheap-ass wheels, there’s nothing left to even justify picking this up to part it out as all the Porsche parts are gone. It’s literally garbage.

Everyone’s always saying about some finicky high-maintenance Euro ride “Do an LS swap!” Why do these SBC swaps always have to be some basic-bitch 350 with a carb? And the damn thing doesn’t even work. This is just a mess. ND

The MR2 is not a FWD-based car. It is a mid-engine roadster. It’s going to cost more than a FWD or front-engine RWD car of similar vintage.

I’d worry that two bags of cement might exceed the limit of what this thing can haul. This is junk. ND at any price. CP at $6K.

Have some respect for Mr. Norm you damn heathens

Out of respect for Mr. Norm I cannot vote ND on this

I love this nasty beast, and although my head says it’s worth $2K at best, I’m going with my heart. NP

Not fair, the AMC is much better looking than the X6

If you know where I can find running Toyota pickups for $600-$800 I’ll buy all they  have.

This comment is Crack Pipe. It’s a running Toyota truck, $2,800 is a bargain.

It’s honestly par for the course in the used car hellscape we now live in”

This is the correct take.

So was it a gaffe in the post or did Toyota actually “modernize” by swapping an IRS for a stick axle?

“Subscribe to Our Newsletter!”

These things weren’t anywhere near $27,500 when new, so no idea what part of his ass the seller puled that NADA value from.
