Seller did say the odo has rolled over, and it is a Toyota truck, so maybe actual mileage is 1,053,000 miles?

That’s what I was thinking, it might take $5-6K to get this thing fixed, then you’ve spent $8K for a nearly 20-yo WRX with 170K miles on it and a salvage title.
I’m not a fan of the mods and the vague descriptions, but the steering wheel swap really seals the deal. This thing is all kinds of bad waiting to happen. ND
How can you tell? Poll results aren’t showing up for me.
Don’t forget the steering column that’s mounted in a “somewhat awkward manner.” Yeah, that’s what I want, a steering system that’s been half-assed attached.
Back in about 1970 saw a new car at a Plymouth dealer (remember those?) that had Aspen on one side and Volare on the other.
Trust me as someone who drove a Country Squire in high school, a wagon is VERY useful at times IYKWIMAITYD.
Glad seller included pics of the original window sticker. $20K is the original MSRP of the truck, minus the hideous body kit. Wild that in 1990 a new GMC dually was only $20K. Also wild they tacked on 65% extra for the tacky body kit. That’d be like, what, paying $140,000 for a GMC with a hideous body kit today?
Came here to say the same thing about the price. Any vintage economy car with super low miles in amazing condition yet unremarkable otherwise has a price ceiling of four figures.
I’ve been browsing Autotrader for about a year looking at 2018-2019 Mustang GTs, a couple of months ago there were plenty of nice reasonable mileage listings around $31-32K, some as low as $29K, now seems like most are $34-$36K
I’ve always wondered, are the T-tops on these things removable or do they just pop up a couple inches on the sides? If the latter I hate them. That’s a total teaser. Boo!
Old, filthy, and electrical gremlins with the gas gauge. No way in hell.
This is easily worth 2x what the seller is asking for his dank project pit of despair.
Cool car, but kind of appropriate it’s parked outside a liquor & lotto store. You’d need to be drunk and willing to take a gamble to pay $8,500 for this. ND
Are we not going to talk about the front suspension? What’s going on there?
Cute truck, don’t mind the Pinto motor since it has a 5-speed, but 200k miles and a salvage title? ND
Headline makes it seems like the train was at fault.
I’m a Mustang guy and actually kind of looking around for one, I like the Foxstangs, so I saw the headline and top photo and thought “Hmmm, that’s quite a lot, this thing must be in fantastic shape!”
It looks in great condition, that interior is gorgeous, miles are reasonable, but the X6 is criminally ugly. People should’ve gone to jail for this. I hate these so much. I’m going to refrain from voting.
Agreed, the craftsmanship is impeccable, inside and out and even the engine bay. Not surprised it’s getting a solid ND vote, but am a little by how much. This thing is flat gorgeous.
