“It doesn’t make sense for me, therefore it doesn’t make sense for anyone.”

Interesting. You led me to this:

This car looks like other cars! That is terrible/great!

New car design Jalopnik comment section BINGO - GO!

they erred on the side of “Generic Chevy” styling wise, but if their range estimates hold up to scrutiny they’ll actually have a winner in the EV market. Definitely be prepared for low-cost materials inside, but those who want a longer-range EV won’t give a s**t.

I think it looks pretty good. Like a scaled up and sharpened i3. I hope it sells well for Chevrolet.

And people will still try to tell us batteries are a bigger fire risk.

Unlimited mileage for one year, of which 50 weeks will be spent sitting in the shop waiting for parts.

“I wouldn’t give up diesel, even in the U.S.,” Diess told reporters

Not that more speed isn’t awesome, but who even has 1,733Mbps (>200 MB/s) internet coming into their home? Even if you had Google Fiber, you’re still not getting that speed. They also tend to have a very low center of gravity as most of the weight is a giant slab of a battery at the bottom.

Except that the “electrified Aveo” actually exists as a drivable car. A 200 mile electric for $30k currently exists under the Tesla badge as a promise. No doubt, the model 3 will be a fine car but you can get this one much sooner.

Meanwhile, FCA shows of it’s new fuel efficient offering:

Yep! I always appreciate it when somebody asks me if what they’re buying is good, so I can just say yes. :)
