It helps, in your case, that the Honda Fit is a magic box of packaging. Get a similarly-sized Ford Fiesta and you’d be singing a different tune.
Rear-facing child seats, especially for infants, are mega-huge these days. While I was able to make do with a compact car some years ago, nowadays, new parents pretty much need a Toyota Camry/Accord-sized vehicle at the minimum. Compact SUVs tend to fit the bill pretty well for these folks as well, at least if there’s…
Looks like global transportation might be back to trains and sailing vessels within this century or the next.
The primary issue with doing very little styling changes is that consumers are emotional buyers. They don’t want to be seen in what could pass for a decade-old car. That’s one reason why Tesla has been having to cut prices.
You’d have to see the actual questionnaire, but I’m doubting they’re referring to satellite radio, because that only has something like a less than 1% take rate.
At least GM is adding or at least maintaining the value there.

That’s a good question, considering they aren’t exactly bargain-priced, the way Japanese and Korean imports got a foothold in the market.
That may be, but the Atlas has more of the feature that buyers in this segment are looking for: space.
Overall height is about 63" vs. the Rav4's roughly 65". I meant “shorter” in the height sense, not the length sense. And if we’re talking length, it’s actually slightly longer than a Rav4.
It’s roughly the size of a Toyota Rav4, just a bit shorter.
With big batteries, HP is basically free. And customers love HP, so that’s what they give ‘em. Lowering max power would have a negligible effect on range, mainly due to not being able to accelerate as quickly. The bodywork and big wheels have a greater effect on range than big HP numbers.
