The EPA actually uses several metrics to differentiate an SUV vs a “car.”

This is legitimately a dealbreaker for me. Aside from automakers not exactly having the best navigation/streaming audio native options, I’m betting GM is going to charge a subscription fee for access to all their software goodness. And I’ll be damned if I’m paying yet another data fee besides my phones and home…
I mean...we’re talking GM here. They’ve been known to do completely ridiculous things before.
I Dijonot see that coming.
Madison Cube Garden...so jealous.
You think you have apex seal issues now. Wait til you get a load of this.
I mean, there’s not much else Uber can do beyond that and cooperating with the police.
Presumably, though, she’s familiar with US roadway signage that will direct you to distant cities if you’re on that highway. Like, there’s probably a sign somewhere in Kentucky that displays “Indianapolis” even though you’re hundreds of miles from there.

This almost certainly the case. The government isn’t able to write legislation that targets a particular company (good or bad).
Don’t forget $500 for scratch protectors under the door handles. You know, the same scratch protectors you can get on Amazon at 20 for $10.

The issue with Musk isn’t that he’s a shareholder (though he is), it’s also that he runs the company, so his voice is effectively Tesla’s voice. And he’s been using his influence and platforms in some not-so-progressive ways. Ways which seem at odds with a company which is trying to replace gas cars.
A hybrid done well, like Toyota does, are among the most durable gas-powered vehicles available. Toyota Priuses used as Taxis regularly crest 300,000 miles with minimal maintenance.
Hey, man, I feel for you. However, I don’t see how this is stopping you from buying an EV.
Which window? The regular front windows or the porthole second-row windows? :)
A couple of technical details that were available is that it will have a bigger battery pack (91kWh) and a newer, more powerful, more efficient motor that will provide 280hp and 400 lb-ft of torque. Spit-balling, I’d guesstimate about 250 on the EPA cycle.
