The issue is that in today’s market, once you hit that 2- 3 year old sweet spot, the used car is still not appreciably less expensive than a new one. Ok, you might get a used Camry for $24k vs. $28k new. But if the prices are so close, and you have to finance, the higher rates of used car financing closes the gap…
