For $300k, I get a car that’s styled like a squashed Lyriq and better-looking wheels, plus a 55" TV inside? Cool cool cool.

Well well well...it seems public shaming does work on some people. At least a little.
This is like asking who was the greatest basketball player of the 1990's. Even someone who knows nothing about basketball can answer that, and the same applies here:
You’re thinking of the Equinox EV, which has yet to be fully revealed.
Changing the vehicle start routine is probably less traumatic than removing a physical drive selector or not knowing how to turn on the windshield wipers.
I think the top range version likely has the Lyriq’s half-a-Hummer-EV pack, or around 100kWh. GM may be going the way of Tesla and not divulging the actual pack capacities.
This is a completely different Blazer than the ICE version. The interiors are likely to be very different in execution.
“Meet my team: Blaze. Lazer. Blazer.”
There are still EV incentives in various states.
Right. And since the EPA tests follow a prescribed driving procedure, two EVs that are otherwise identical except one is programmed to have 2x as much HP as the other, will probably net identical EPA ratings.
And you can probably attribute at least half that range difference to the 22" vs 21" wheels and maybe a few more miles due to different bodywork.
Crucially, the SS has 22" wheels while the RS has 21" wheels, which probably accounts for at least half the range difference.
In EVs, you don’t trade power for range. Bigger wheels and different bodywork have a bigger impact on range than moar power.
The reason why EVs have so much power is because power is easy for an EV. Feed it more amps (within the specs of the motor, anyways). Most EVs could probably put out about 500+ HP with just a new controller and updated software.
Even if it was “always that cheap,” it helps perception when the MSRP is “actually” that cheap.
That’s why there’s so many coffee shops at airports!
Every product will find a buyer...at the right price. At a price similar to a Tesla Model 3 when both were available back in 2018 or so, the Bolt didn’t look that great.
Is it RWD, diesel-powered, manual trans, and brown? No, no, no, and no? Pass.
That’s why you want to make sure to take a big dump right before boarding.
IIRC, I believe $5,000 is the maximum reimbursement for lost luggage according to the airline passenger’s bill of rights.
