Bolt EUV seems like basically the same size, after tax credits it’s probably cheaper and it has double the range so maybe go take one of those?

Why would you buy this when a Chevy Bolt is about the same cost with twice the range?

I had an impossible burger once. The verdict? Eat meat, or eat vegetarian, but don’t eat vegetarian trying to be meat. The impossible burger tasted sort of like meat, but smelled bad when cooked and gave me horrible indigestion. Felafel or a black bean burger would have been much more satisfying.

Stellantis- This limited edition Jeep will cost $71,790

If a single person who cross-shops this with a Chevy Bolt, especially since it will get the Tesla charger compatibility and ultium battery pack... STILL buys this car with 50-100 miles less range and way less usability... WHY?????? You can get a loaded Bolt now... with way more range, a charger hookup, and very easy

I’m a happy 500 owner, so I really want this to succeed. But I question whether they can stay competitive with the upcoming Chevy Bolt and compact Tesla. Those will presumably offer at least 200 miles of range at under or around $30k , and I can’t see the 500 beating them on either count. If they could make it to

unfortunately not for that price. Not in the USA anyway. If im 30-40k+ its gotta be able to do it all. Also... abarth version for it too? Its not like I dont like these, but its gonna have a fairly niche market in a niche market.

My guess is it’ll sell for 3-4 years before they cancel it in the states, which has nothing to do with how good or bad the car is.

It seems to me that the best time to be doing all of this was like 5 years ago.

Do not buy an old Kia Soul unless you want to add oil every other day.

BMW i3. No better city car.

Exactly - this would have been interesting against the i3 or maybe even the Volt, but to day it’s an over-complicated oddity.

I’m guessing the fuel tank is very small for this.

The answer is always Ford EcoSport.

It uses a planetary-type CVT, and unlike many CVTs I’ve driven, I was able to forget it was a CVT, which is the highest praise any CVT can hope for.

im pretty excited.  the early reviews are promising.  TFL got better 0-60 times than they were estimating before.  i can either get a basemansquatch bronco or a maverick and a triumph rocket 3.  gonna be a hard choice.

What’s the difference between an electronic knob and a mechanical lever in an automatic vehicle? You’re using it at the start of a drive and at the end. And maybe for the occasional K turn. Why does it matter, really?

The base stereo on the Maverick comes with Sync3 and apple carplay/android auto as standard. Not sure why you think you need the top trim level just to get that, even the XL gets the same 8" touch screen. The higher trims have an optional B&O stereo upgrade, and for some mistaken reason claim to be the only ones with

If there is another EV tax incentive, it should only go towards affordable EVs or middle to low income people only. Luxury and high end EVs have already proven themselves to be competitive. Well off people have already shown they like and can afford EVs as well have the detached private homes that really suit EVs

After 25 years it makes no difference. No import restrictions at that point. Younger than 25 years is nearly impossible. Not completely if you are made of money, but nearly.
