Oh iMac Anime girl... how I've missed you...

So... the last place truly untouched by man... and we've been working for 20 years to get there and mud it up... oh, and has NO ONE thought that this might be under it?

Up until 2 months ago Merck & Co., Inc. was still using IE6 as its installed browser. When they upgraded it did cause a lot of havoc on internal systems that weren't prepared. They upgraded to IE8 btw.

These are called "Social Distractions" used to take many people's attentions away from much larger issues that some people would rather we not know about.

I'd like to hear from anyone who actually has knowledge of how the USPTO actually works to get their opinion on this topic.

You know there ARE a lot of technologically illiterate people, right? that's precisely the point.

You'd be surprised at what can and can't be patented... and my bet is that it isn't that they're patenting "Square" OR "Rounded corners" ect.... they've patented a "Square, simple, thin bezeled with rounded corners tablet" there's a big big difference there.

Lets be honest here... How poorly the display is done irks me as well. If that's how much effort he puts into an illuminated sign made in protest, I wonder how much effort he puts into his cars... maybe they're just banned from car shows because they're just really really poorly done.

first thing I thought of too...

This method doesn't "force" a friendship acceptance, it "tricks" the user into a friendship acceptance. Forcing a friendship acceptance would be a legitimate hack where the other user never had a choice in the matter.

This explains perfectly why one of the people I work with chews gum all day long. She literally will put a new piece in her mouth every half-hour.

...But what if the bears are pacifist?

I thought More Nutella was the perfect companion...

I do that too, when I'm not actually at work... but that's mainly because I've been told I have to take time out of my day to stop thinking a little bit and relax... but I definitely have a lot of those 30 second - 5 minute intervals during my work day that I could use these types of tips for.

I've used those (or ones similar) before, especially for larger cables (power cords, excess Ethernet) but for the little stuff, I just use twist-ties.

precisely what I do as well. the messenger bag I have actually has a zippered middle section which my ipad (or a small laptop) can fit into. when I just have that in there it looks like I'm carrying around an empty bag. That way, if someone tries to mug me and they tell me to give em the stuff in my bag I can just

With the name "Copper" I'd hope you'd like pennies.

By what logic are you coming up with these odds? Actually, the odds of any intelligent life having a sense of hearing would be pretty large... in fact I'd say that is a guarantee. What species do you know of that's deaf? The sense of hearing is a big necessity of life to survive long enough to evolve.

it looks like fleshbot is the only site that didn't get the new layout. Screw with the techy people all you want, but don't mess with the porn.

Possibly. What I would do is modify it so the solar panel charges a battery, and the battery charges the device.
