I loved my Smart so much I named myself after its parent company. Ok, I guess I named myself after the lady that the company was named after, but you get my point. Still have five of them in my fleet today, including a rare (for the U.S.) diesel.

Or all cars are limited to 85 mph, if you plan to go faster than that you have to manually go into infotainment system and unlock it by agreeing that you are at a track setting, high speeds etc etc. This way there is no excuse that they planned on going dangerously fast, makes it easier to prosecute and everyone can

Me too, because then we might get some fun street cars instead of the current crop of bloated expensive over powered nonsense that’s only good for bench racing.

You’re right about Bullitt, but the They Live fight scene is one of the most glorious things ever put on film. A thrilling and funny celebration of the over-the-top machismo that was prevalent at the time in action movies. I didn’t know it was much mocked and anyone mocking it doesn’t like movies.

Come to Scotland, specifically Ayrshire. We’ve only one pothole, but it stretches from Cumnock all the way to Irvine and the Clyde itself; and I’m not say it is deep, but I swear I passed a kangaroo climbing out of it last week. Since Ayrshire contains Cumnock, Mauchline, Kilmarnock, and Ardrossan, you have missed

That car is now called a Boxter.

x1,000 on the “anything that’s not a miata commentary” (though not necessarily on the headline.) Too many “modern” sports cars are seriously unenjoyable on 99% of roads. You’re either going at genuinely irresponsible speeds or you’re basically pottering about using 5% of the car’s potential.
My E36 M3 was right at the

HONDA ELEMENT. Supposedly a couple recent Honda patents suggest they may be working on a new Element.

You do have to see these in person to appreciate them.

I suspect these are just the pictures for us poors. Real legit bidders are likely getting Cars & Bids level photo spreads with dozens if not 100's of photos of every angle. Though to be fair if it won Pebble, it’s almost certainly in as perfect condition as you can get for a car of that age. The judges at Pebble Beach

I agree with you - these “close coupled” coupes with the tiny greenhouse never look quite right to me. The cabriolets and Atalante coupes are much better looking to my eye.

It’s so funny going back and forth between the Bronco forums and the Maverick forums. Everyone on the Maverick forums is chill and just excited about a nice, useful vehicle that’s reasonable, practical, and extremely sensible in day-to-day use.

I, for one, take a really positive message away from this heart-warming story. *This* is what happens when you try turning off and on again *before* calling the IT Helpdesk and whining at them that you’ve already tried ‘everything’, knowing that you haven’t done a darn thing.

This.

Did we just become best friends!?!

Well, good for you! They fucked me over way before you even got started.

CEO’s wind up being the money facing figure. CTO/CPO’s wind up as the internal stop gap between product/dev/IT/and sometimes tech services, and the CRO. HR can fuck right off with their political bullshit. Presidents wear no clothes and are the speaking circuit figures who should only ride in Boeings. COO’s are often
