It would seem the next logical step is to arrest Hudson and seize his car. And it seems city officials are considering it. A statement from the Seattle city attorney’s office to Fox 13 on June 10th said that the office is “looking into what more they can do.” Kind of makes you wonder why impounding his car wasn’t

And this, ladies and gentlemen of the United States, is our leading presidential candidate.

They do make a statement, even if that statement is, “I bought something that gets better gas mileage than your bronco sport and can do 95% of the same stuff off road...” But seriously, they do make a statement- an outback is always gonna be the weird choice compared to all the other SUVs out there.

While that may have been true in the beginning, back when the subaru wagon was a tiny little AWD thing, it’s grown into something bigger and better.

The Subaru Outback is a total ripoff of the original Jeep Wagoneer, done much better, with the questionable bits of plastic trim standing in for the plastic wood of dubious quality on the sides of the wagoneer.

Red Bull’s junior program really seems to be more catch and kill rather than development- As long as they’re under contract with Red Bull, they can’t drive for anyone else...

Prii are like bicycles in traffic in that, you notice them doing stuff because you’re aware of them and are already biased against them.

But privatization is goooooooood and everything is better when it’s run by benevolent rich guys who only care about the stock price...

When the revolution comes, its gonna be ugly.

The Feds have actually warned him that if he starts inserting his nonsense into SpaceX his contracts are going to dry up quick.

OR, he’s proving that CEOs are increasingly pointless figureheads that most companies would do better without.

Musk’s end of the bargain, incidentally, involved getting the automaker’s market cap up to $100 billion and meeting a set of strict earnings targets. To his credit, he did hit the market cap goal back in 2020 and the company is now valued at more than $500 billion.

Dear “enthusiasts”-

You are a tiny niche audience in a giant sea of folks who do not care about performance. If every auto manufacturer on earth stopped selling true, enthusiast approved sports cars tomorrow and replaced them all with SUVs, their sales would go up.

I’m pretty sure that “Glass Onion” was about him. He is that dumb, he’s just also bold enough to try it.

OK, I can speak to this because I was there: in the 70s, EVERYTHING smelled like that. All the time. Everywhere.

My grandpa had a hobby farm/grandkid trap way out in the country and we’d go there on weekends and the air was so much better, but even then, a car would roll by and you’d smell it for 10 minutes after.

Any diesel Bro Truuuuuuuuuk.
Seriously, if you drive one of these things, fuck you.

I remember Car and driver reviewing and suggesting that it would be better if Subaru built it with a permanent truck cap and called it the outback.

Aside from it’s less than stellar gas mileage, the ridgeline is a pretty awesome vehicle. Make a hybrid version that gets better gas mileage and I’d buy one.

Honestly, I’m excited to see how this plays out because either way means lower emissions. And isn’t it nice to see the American auto industry trying to figure out what’s more efficient rather than how to make trucks bigger? (I KNOW, they’re still gonna make trucks bigger. )

If you’re going to let perfect get in the way of better, you’re gonna wait a looooong time.

It’s easy to volunteer others to end themselves. Because again, what you’re saying is “future generations? Fuck ‘em, they’re gonna get what we deserved.” We don’t get to go out that easily. We don’t get to go out like boomers, having made everything we touched worse but profiting all the same. We make things better.
