Not if there’s a speed limiter keeping you from driving over 20.
Not if there’s a speed limiter keeping you from driving over 20.
Yeah, speed limits in neighborhoods should be unlimited. Fuck those kids, I need to drive faster.
Came here for the “they’re takin’ mah Freedoms!”, was not disappointed.
Oh thank god. His shtick is as old and out of shape as he is.
Right, but the Crosstrek starts at 5K more then the Trax. And at this pricepoint, 5K makes a HUGE difference.
I hate this dismissal- ugh, it’s blaaaaaand, it looks like all the other ones... Of course it looks like all the other crossovers. It’s a mass market budget car. Do you complain that all the clothes at H&M or Old Navy look like all the other clothes out there? Do you complain that all the appliances you can buy tend…
I need to make a 450 mile drive about 4-5 times a month. It’s a long-ass drive and it’s one I do not want to make longer as it’s already got several nasty choke points that can add hours to the drive. In my outback I can make it on a single tank of gas which cuts my travel time down to around 7-7.5 hours, which is…
1st Gear: Toyota Chair Isn’t Sold On BEVs
I’ve seen her live as well and her slightly manic energy is infectious. I still want to meet the hero who booked her for the trump white house press corps dinner.
I mean, I’ve seen John Oliver live and I’ve been a fan for literal decades now and I can say he’s exactly as funny as he’s ever been and that he and Michelle Wolf are similar in that you either like them or you do not.
So, boring in all the right ways :)
Over 100k in my Outback, no problems yet. I’m pretty comfortable thinking it will make it to 200k. I’ve had friends get 200k+ in theirs so I’ll keep taking good care of mine and I’ll drive it til it kerplodes.
I think what “enthusiasts” miss is that subarus are generally pretty well balanced- they’re comfortable enough, they’re powerful enough, the get good enough gas mileage and they do everything you could possibly want them to do and often a lot more than you’d expect.
I can only give one big piece of advice- Fuck enthusiast approved. Those enthusiasts won’t be driving your car, they won’t be paying for it. Who cares what they think? I say this as someone who used to worry way too much about what “they” thought and now drive something that makes me happy but I’m pretty sure “they”…
The only drug that matters in this case is the drug of having essentially zero consequences for your actions. Plenty of CEOs around the world can operate just fine despite swimming in a sea of coke and hookers and expensive scotch, mainly because they know they have to have a reasonably straight face when they face…
So is this a problem like, say, climate change? In other words, a problem that has an absolute shitton of factors, none of which by themselves is the actual problem, but all of which together, start adding up to truly awful results, results that compound with each other and add to the problem until you hit a crisis…
Yet another reason I could move to canada.
And yet, because we all expect insurance to cost nothing and fix everything, We expect that insurance will rebuild our homes 2,3,4 times and that our rates shouldn’t go up because of that. We’ve got states *coughFLORIDAcough* that have banned the mention of climate change as a reason for... anything but that doesn’t…
Again, considering how well that argument has gone for healthcare AND the fact that as far as I know, even the most socialized of EU countries requires you to buy private insurance for your private vehicle, I don’t think that’s an option.
Well, considering how well that line of argument has gone for healthcare- which is an actual necessity- I can’t imagine it’s gonna happen anytime soon. Also pretty sure that even the most socialized of European countries still requires you to buy your own private auto insurance. Of course, those countries can say,…
