Third paragraph: not a one of the vehicles I have parts on has been recalled, owner-notification'd, or TSB'd *due to my parts*. I should make that clearer.

For what it's worth I have an HD V Rod and a Triumph Street Triple and I usually feel welcomed by HD or "rice burner" riders no matter what bike I'm on. Also for what it's worth my V Rod keeps up with the Triple just fine. Unless there are right corners. Then the HD is pretty much screwed.
There is no fucking way that HD will every sell enough of these to make any money or continue production. This would be true no matter if the HD Electric was the best bike every made and actually paid you to ride her.
I toured the powerplant factory a few years ago. After an informational video on the history of the company, followed by a tour of the floor, I was never more sure that I didn't want to own a Harley.
I'm sure they'll still slam a V-twin with an obnoxious exhaust in there so the bike isn't quiet, right? You can't have a quiet Harley.
It will probably still leak oil.
Until they add a synthetic exhaust sound that the rider can blip at stop lights it'll never sell.
And for the record, I'm neither a dentist nor do I wear chaps. I sell auto parts for a living :D
Finally! This explains why they stopped all internal combustion engine development 60 years ago! They were focusing their efforts on this!
This may be the first good idea that Harley-Davidson has had in decades.
Douche bags are the 911 drivers who black out the taillights, turn signals, the windows, and slap black rims on it. Then drive around playing music loud and revving every chance they get. The racing community is about 80% genuinely cool people who just love cars.
Instead of "here, hold mah beer."
I can understand the state wanting to get the car back to its original owner, that's sad but fair. After all it sucks that it happened, but it is still legally buddy's car.
What I can't abide by, is the guy who gets his car back, doesn't care about it, turning around and selling it to the guy who spotted it, and then…
This was exactly what I was thinking. The state of Arizona messed up and should pay the 1995 value of the car to the original owner and leave the actual car with Caperon.
This doesn't add up. How does a friend happen on a car in different condition with different plates getting painted in an auto shop recognize a 20…
True, but no one said you have to live life as a gigantic gaping asshole either.
The irony is I could never use a 35,000 square foot home... Now a 2,000 square foot home and 33,000 square foot garage... that I could use.
No doubt. If this were posted on Gawker there's already be a dozen or so posts pointing out it's underlying shame for centuries of "white privilege" (although I'm only mid-40's) manifesting itself as guilt in the present. That's why I try and stick to Jalop. *thumbsup*
