Not that I haven't enjoyed watching /DRIVE videos, but it does figure that the one /DRIVE video I was genuinely really psyched to watch would slap me in the face with a paid-subscription requirement.

Well, that certainly came out of nowhere!
I've been considering getting an old Vespa to rebuild for a while, and I think you just sold me on the idea. I always forget that there's factory 200cc Vespas, and I imagine you're right that a two-stroke 200cc Vespa absolutely rips!
Exactly! I don't care what people say about scooters and mopeds, I absolutely love them. I have owned / rode just about any type of motorcycle at this point in my life and while fast bikes are certainly fun, chucking a scooter or small-displacement bike around town is an absolute riot.
Never before has a satire-article been more right. Some of my first driving experiences involved learning bootleg-turns and J-turns in an old Escort at age ten!
I believe my opinion falls within the spectrum of relevance here, I've certainly seen posts I'd consider have much more of a "non-sequitur" quality - in other words, statements / posts that have nothing to do with the subject manner of the article. We aren't being graded on this assignment, there isn't a pop-quiz…
That's a very strange conclusion to jump to.
I hate the Escalade with a passion, entirely because of the types of people that tend to buy them. Yes, I know there are always exceptions to the rule, but I've yet to meet somebody that drives one that doesn't act like a complete jackass. That doesn't even count the Escalade drivers I only see out on the road.
Exactly! These comments have me thoroughly and irreversibly triggered. These people should know better than to expect us to make correct choices to get our desired result! What they need to remember is that they exist to pander to each and every one of us on an individual basis. Their intelligence-privilege is…

Exactly bro! These comments have me thoroughly triggered. We all know that it isn't our job to make correct decisions to get the results we desire, it's their job to cater to us on an individual basis! These people really need to check their intelligence-privilege!
If I were watching this event on a major delay, as-in after it had already finished, and I really didn't want the result spoiled for me, the last thing I would consider doing is simultaneously browse an automotive news website that I know is covering the event.
I always love the pride that it seems Japanese society as a whole takes in genuine respect, polite customer service and an honest day's work.
"I reckon I'll give it the old Scandinavian Flick!"
Actually, diagonally across on the other side of the country - Northeast native!
Immediately on my "Red Alert" road list, next to the CR-V / RAV-4 and Murano. I assume the first time I'll encounter one of these on the road, it will be piloted very slowly in the passing lane on a surface street. When I finally relent and go to pass on the right, the driver will floor the gas pedal and swerve at me…
You're absolutely correct, but it's still scary stuff!
Stuff like this reminds me of how Chrysler and GM can get away with exploiting loopholes to get the PT Cruiser and HHR classified as Light Trucks to help drive up the average fuel economy of their Light Truck fleet to meet CAFE standards. What a load of bologna.
That's bothered me for a long time - the fact that while it takes somebody a lot of time, money, certifications, testing and re-testing to be licensed to drive a bus or semi-truck, 88 year-old FuckStick McGee can go out and buy an RV the size of a Greyhound bus and is considered fully qualified to drive it with the…
That's a pretty poor counter-argument.
