That's a shame. It sounds par-for-the-course for General Motors - awesome idea, poor execution.

The Cabot Trail! Cape Breton is where I need to head next time I head over to Nova Scotia, I've been told countless great things about Cape Breton and The Cabot Trail. My first trip I mainly focused on the central region of the province. Next time I'll head further East!
Exactly. I'm a Crystal Castles fan, and a fan of electronic music in general, but they do have a number of tracks that just come off as "AAHHHHHH LOUD NOISES!"
Always glad to meet another Speed Triple enthusiast! It's interesting how they turn more heads than most any other modern "street-bike" style motorcycle, but you don't really see a lot of them. The fact that they are underrated is kind of nice in how they don't have a bad reputation (like a GSX-R) because of the type…
As a visitor, I definitely enjoyed Truro (particularly Victoria Park), but I can definitely see why locals would have a different opinion of the town. I spent one part of a day exploring Truro and Victoria Park and the rest of the week was roaming elsewhere! Nova Scotia is great because it literally "has it all", from…
I traveled 650mi by motorcycle over the course of a single day out to Truro (roughly an hour North of Halifax) and stayed out there for a week last August in the peak of blueberry / blackberry season. Few trips to Halifax and much of the Western part of the province. Such an incredible experience at a beautiful place…
This article just makes me think about how awesome Halifax, and Nova Scotia in general, is and how much I can't wait to go back! Although I have only seen the beautiful province during the summer!
The White Stripes rule, such a shame that they broke up! I still find myself listening to some of their music on a daily basis.
For an extra $25g, they'll give you the set minus one or two of the cars.
Exactly. Changes in the US regulations caused people to basically phase-out FC trucks. Claims include "difficulty of service", but since most other countries prefer FC semi trucks, I tend to believe the desire for trucks with long hoods in America is more of an image thing.
Absolutely, but I was talking about this specific truck. My comment was also more sarcastic in nature. Your points are correct.
Not saying that I disagree with you (I wasn't being entirely serious with my statement) about the military use, but there is definitely a disdain for forward-control vehicles in America, even if it's more on the civilian side of things. It's really rare to see a forward-control truck (and I love them!) on US highways.…
What a cool rig! I also had no idea this ever existed, definitely a genius design that could have worked very well.
If their truck had a manual, it would be much more difficult for them to "roll coal" (or just slam the accelerator if they're driving a gas model) in the strip-mall parking lot when they see a group of 8th Grade girls walking by.
Stuff like this is exactly why I need to invest in a proper dash-cam setup. I've played around with a cheaper video camera and suction mount, but it doesn't have the memory and battery life for anything more than a cross-town trip.
