The "please educate me" part of your statement is a rhetorical question. I've already figured out that we are unable to come to an agreement. You are Pro-Union all the way; I believe in the original concept of labor unions, but not in the way they are used today. At this point, we are going to have to agree to

That is taking my point completely, entirely and fully out of context. I don't know if you're doing that on purpose or if you truly believe that's what I am saying. I'm really dumbfounded, and am starting to think that you're merely trolling.

I don't do what he does because I'm not a lowlife, dirtbag piece of shit that takes advantage of entitlements, forces lower-wage people to do his work for him (like this management you claim to hate so much, except he doesn't manage anything), and brags about taking Social Security from people that really need it

Just to clarify, the "janitor" in my case did / does absolutely nothing. He even bragged about that fact. The rest of the janitorial staff was doing all of the actual work, earning a mere fraction of what he "earns" to do nothing. The only thing he did right was have a huge entitlement complex, join a union and kiss

Yeah, damn white people. Just like the two men behind the Beltway Sniper Attacks!

Yet another miserable dirtbag looking to justify their miserable existence, trying to murder random, innocent motorists so they can "get on the TV" or somehow feel more alive.

I will respect your opinion. But, I'm not in a union. I'm not in management and I don't own my own business. That blind assumption is ridiculous.

I've met a guy that is a janitor at a factory, and has been in that position his entire life. He's always been in some sort of union racket, so he brags about how he's now taking home $5,500/month to be a "janitor", while the rest of the janitorial staff does the actual work - and how he also manages to get Social

You are joking, right? I was writing in jest, poking fun at the state of labor unions in America. If you can't handle that, or understand the actual context of my comment, you need to get off your computer and go outside for a while.

Yes, absolutely. I wasn't being totally serious in my comment either, just poking fun!

In Africa, they don't need full benefits packages and thirty Union-Mandated smoke breaks and an hour Union-Mandated lunch break per Union-Mandated eight-hour shift!

Or you could just buy a used TomTom / Garmin off Craigslist, Amazon or eBay for a fraction of the "upgrade" price and call it a day, plus you can use it in any vehicle.

That's fantastic! Sounds like you found a great woman to be your wife!

I could never let myself be with such an emasculating, control-freak of a woman. I'd rather have an even 50-50 relationship or nothing at all!

Precisely! If it were a two-seater, then I could reasonably understand. But I see plenty of young families make a four-door sedan - or even a two-door hatchback - work just fine! In the case of the ad above (if it's actually real), I feel if the girlfriend / wife didn't see it as a performance car, she wouldn't even

I've always agreed with the appreciation of NA as well. As cool as the WRX / STI models are, you just can't argue with the throttle response of a NA 2.2 / 2.5. I've actually found that the non-turbo versions do a lot better out on the ice for that reason!

What is just as scary is couples that don't even have kids, and yet the girlfriend / wife is trying to force their significant other into selling a car / motorcycle that they love. Seems like every time I see it happen to friends and peers, it isn't even a case of a financial need to sell it. It's just for the control

Which WRX do you have?

I'm so jaded at this point that I'm certain that while they may produce this car, they will never, ever sell it in the US. But if it gets made next year, we'll be able to import it by...say...around 2040!

They aren't used to it, they assume that all men are stupid and sex-crazed beasts that will sleep with any woman that happens to still be alive and breathing.
