It’s also the ethos of Shut Up and Jam Barkley: Gaiden in a single line—every silly joke and offhand idea became a joke of some sort, and therefore canon

Of course everyone can make games if they want to, that is their right as a citizen of the free world and I wouldn’t take it away from them. But who is going to play all those games? Think about it, think about how many games there already are on steam. Think of all the shovelware and shitty games and games no one

Even most normal people aren’t really interested in their education.

What I don’t understand is the level of emotional attachment to a fantasy story that drives someone to hate an author for messing it up. I don’t understand how people become so invested in a franchise that they feel personally betrayed when the authors do things with it that they do not like.

Oh, I thought this was a case of one of those fans-love-a-thing-so-much-they-begin-to-hate-it. Like those star wars fans who hate George Lucas.

I really don’t understand what brings someone to be so invested in a fantasy story that they would get as angry about this as you are. And why you would even want to read 2 books by an author you clearly don’t even like anymore.

I don’t think it’s that serious. He’s not Leo Tolstoy, who is studying these books?

As in, does he believe the government should seize all means of production and displace the entire public sector? (actual traditional socialist)

I’ve seen him from before once or twice. Seems pretty cool to me. His takes are unapologetically socialist but also very reasonable and his tone doesn’t seem preachy or assholey. It has been a while, but that is what I remember to be my impression.

Me and my girl love the stuff. Then again in all honesty, we’re both pretty bougie.

There are enough games in the world already . Sometimes we just dont need another one. I think less people should be making games. Much less maybe than currently are. So those that devote their efforts to bringing an old game back to life are doing the more necessary work imo. We don’t necessarily need much in terms

Because it would have to be enforced through government regulations probably.

Caaaalm down, I don’t think anybody’s claiming that. I think people are liking his consideration of other people. It’s a gesture. No one asked him to do this (at least, not seriously) he just did it and people appreciate that he did it. I don’t think anyone is calling him a hero for it they just feel he’s being

The unemployment rate doesn’t mean anything to real people in the world. Are there jobs where you live, right now, that are willing to hire you and pay you a living wage? That’s the real question. Because many of the employed people who make up the other side of that statistic...they work for Uber and Lyft... The

That’s evidently the power of ideology. I don’t understand it. I don’t know why it works so well on some people. But here we are.

I originally starred your comment because I thought it was sarcasm. I can’t believe the power of ideology is this real.

Oh, I didn’t know jobs grew on trees now. I didn’t know that the reason many people drive for uber is precisely because they cannot find a job. I also didn’t know that even a side gig should pay you enough to make it worth your time.

She’s attractive, maybe not stunning but she’s attractive. She’s also blonde, which is its own kind of privilege. Attractive blonde with huge cans would be a better fix.

I’m normally with you I mean, I’m all for respecting people in general regardless of who they are. That being said, they are the professionals in this context, and I think that’s something people often forget. We often speak about how people should treat police officers. In almost any other line of work, that’s not
