Great actors make something interesting happen regardless, even in spite of, what the director wants. They tap into the potential of the character and add their own depth and interpretation to it.

I think the whole potential of movies is that they are not interactive. The authors have complete control over the experience, so if the authors are good, they can create an artistic experience that games can’t beat.
