Perhaps the founding father types were wrong about ‘tests’ for the eligibility to vote? Right now we have some truly stupid people voting. Carlin was right.

Why in these situations where Republicans are saying stupid shit like this doesn’t anyone just reply “Are you fucking serious?”
I would not have been able to deal with that. I would have either asked him to exactly WTF he thinks the Forest Service does, or inform him Congress would have to pass a bill to provide authority for adjustment of celestial bodies - and provide 10 times the budget.
Just time and again the question is: What the fuck are cops thinking?!?
So this piece of shit almost killed a woman and her unborn child because she was speeding.
I’m not much on big changes in vehicle height, but I have encountered a slammed ramp truck (with which the owner transported their Impala lowrider), and it was glorious. It was an anesthetic choice that enhanced the usability of the vehicle. Could totally see doing that with this example.
I’m going to dissect this bullshit one bit at a time:
It’s a good apology. Mine would probably sound like:
I love how the article tries to insinuate that it was terrible that she took a week to respond to this manufactured controversy. Y’all ought to be ashamed of yourselves.
If it’s going to rupture ear drums, and possibly tear anything that gets too close to the nozzles to shreds with 1500 mph blasts of air, this is clearly something that has no chance in hell of being allowed to be used on the road. In that case, why bother being limited to the shitty impulse of compressed air instead…
27 kg/s of compressed air will not exit the nozzles without extremely loud noise. This might became the first EV that will be able to give permanent hearing loss.
Had a 96 Jetta with 95K miles on the clock. The most unreliable POS I’ve ever had the displeasure of owning.
And threatened a group punishment if he didn’t do it, that’s brutal. Nothing like prison yard psychology of turning groups against the individual. Not really sure what he was supposed to learn here, other than ‘fuck these coaches’. Get him to run some laps or do extra PT, sure, but maybe just cut him some slack if he…
Set aside race. Set aside religion.
I don’t think that the steering rack was worn - I think it was damaged, as was your wife’s. Consider that $1,900 was to replace a bent wheel.

You will always see these new drugs listed as “in conjunction with a reduced calorie diet and physical exercise” because of how clinical trials work. They can’t ethically withhold a treatment known to be effective (diet and exercise), so all new interventions are evaluated against the current standard of care. They…
Considering that Page-Roberts doesn’t think front and rear crash protection is necessary for the passengers, I don’t think protecting passengers from the battery is a big concern either. In fact, I believe they are counting on the squishiness of the passengers to protect the battery.
My main concern, as someone who religiously ties down his heavy tools and gear in his wagon, is what a huge lump of mass behind the passengers does in a crash. Seems like it would weight MORE than underfloor because you would have to strengthen the crash structure perpendicular to the crash forces.
I worked in an industry that helped Alzheimer patients with daily tasks and you are correct that it is a horrifying disease that also affects the wellbeing of family members and friends too.
