So that actually happened in Hong Kong: Pro-democracy protesters blocked up arteries COMPLETELY - we are talking about hundreds of thousands (and actually, at its peak) up to 2 million protesters on the streets.

Making it illegal to peacefully protest DOES infringe on your right to protest.  

This is clearly intended to target the BLM protests.

Here’s the the thing. This is just an open invitation for a person in a vehicle who doesn’t agree with said protestors to come and run them down, with zero responsibility.

Really, $1 billion is chunk of change compared with what Egypt lost while the Ever Given was jammed in the Suez Canal, blocking all traffic. Egypt lost $95 million in transit fees alone during the six-day closure.
