Maybe it was all the assholes I had the displeasure of dealing with today, but this is the dumbest thing I’ve seen in a while. Just because you can doesn’t mean you should. The effort and materials used to create this would have been better used creating any number of less idiotic eyesores.

It looks like someone took a Chevy Equinox and beat it with a cyber sledgehammer.

I don’t know how that qualifies as an SUV. The ground clearance is pretty minimal. It’s a fat tall wagon in my opinion. I guess that’s true of most SUV’s these days, but most vehicles described as such have a bit more ground clearance.

As I posted above to another comment, here in Oregon the laws have changed to pretty much exactly what you described: only registered owners of a vehicle can sell their cats to legit scrappers. I expect that most of the cats that will likely continue to be stolen here in Oregon will simply move out of state to Idaho, W

Here in Oregon the laws just changed that only the registered owner of a vehicle can sell their cat. It seems likely that there will just be an underground network that moves them out of state. Time will tell.

I’ve only seen a few with the new/abandoned grill and I liked them. I think Subaru threw away a great opportunity to embrace a new design language to stand out, but that’s not how it went down. Too bad. I can barely tell a modern Subaru from any other bland car these days.

I expect you’re right.

They’re pretty well universally loved here on the Oregon coast. They save lives all of the time here while putting themselves at great risk.

Well that may have been a bad example, but does nothing to refute or even address my point, which is that police chases (especially high speed ones) are inherently dangerous and unlikely worth the risk they put the public in.

Agreed.

Are you implying that a police chase would have made for a safer situation? Do you think this guy would have decided to say fuck it and I guess I’ll pull over? No way that would have happened. Instead there’d have been two cars driving at ridiculous speeds through a neighborhood.

Maybe I misunderstand you. That said

That and/or money needed laundering. “Art” is perhaps one of the better ways to clean money.

Yeah, I’m getting money laundering vibes from this monstrosity.

Blech, that thing is like someone challenged Toyota to make their own version of the Pontiac Aztek. What an ugly eyesore.

Flying one of these would be no more difficult than flying a modern drone like a DJI Mavic or the like. The computer does all of the heavy lifting to keep the craft level and you just tell it which direction to point and travel and at what rate. I expect most people would be able to get the hang of it within an hour

That is an abomination and should be scrapped. Just because you can doesn’t mean you should.
