“they came across a garage “filled with cars with price tags and no license plates,” the Herald reports.”
“they came across a garage “filled with cars with price tags and no license plates,” the Herald reports.”
Except for the states that put in a waiting period, making it TWO extremely long drives.
Sure. I actually don’t have much of an issue with them moving their cars to those garages, except that they’re not registered, and can’t legally be driven. I do have an issue with the idea that doing so was a matter of the survival of their business, rather than an effort to avoid cost and hassle.
Well, if your business can’t afford to lose what’s being insured, you shouldn’t be self-insuring. Insurance 101.
Lose his livelihood? Assuming he’s vaguely competent, those cars are insured.
I really don’t understand all this micromanaging. Set the size of the cars, parameters for safety, and a maximum speed, and let the teams go at it. Want to have a larger fuel tank, and be heavier, but have to pit less often? Go for it? Want to have a more powerful engine but lower fuel economy? Go for it? Want a…
That insurance looks pretty reasonably priced, given how unlikely a 15 game winning streak during August and September is. Figure around 60 games (a bit less), which means you have 45 chances to start a 15 game streak. Odds of winning 15 in a row, even if you’re an extremely good team that wins 62% of their games…
Los Vascos (Chilean winery, owned by Rothschild) makes a range of excellent reds and whites that retail around $6-7. It won’t be a “transformative experience,” but has always been very reliable tasty wine in my experience.
Was the In-N-Out order animal style?
How exactly does going above and beyond to safely get 150+ people out of the path of a hurricane make them a bad airline?
I was onboard until the “save for the exhaust this car is all stock.” Honda built a beautiful car, if only people didn’t screw with it.
Mercedes actually did make one (the R class), and it was freaking spectacular (to be driven in).
I would argue it’s terrible (as are pickups in general) except for situations where you need to haul a lot of cargo in an open bed.
Until you need to buy groceries and have another person with you, and it’s raining out.
Always tough to say “best,” because on what criteria?
What, no Mohammed?
Does legacy give preference? Sure. Even without it, though, we’d expect people whose parents went to Ivy League schools to be overrepresented in top tier colleges. There’s certainly lots of debate about how much of intelligence, skills, etc. are nature vs. nurture, but people with highly intelligent parents with…
People smoke K2, so it wouldn’t surprise me.
I’d be totally fine with not requiring helmets, so long as anybody who wanted a helmet law waiver had to buy a special insurance policy that would cover all medical bills (including, if necessary, long-term care) associated with any injuries they suffered in a motorcycle crash. If you want to not wear a helmet,…
They’re all equally trash.
