Hey fuckmonkey, I’m trying to provide some “you can do it” encouragement to someone who is in a bad situation. And never did I mention what I’m driving or what my assets are now.
There’s no way they are the first owner of the car. They are probably the 6th owner and got hosed at the local BHPH lot. The MSRP in 2003 was just north of $10k.
No it isn’t at all -- the whole idea behind The Doctor’s exile to Earth was to trim production costs. And honestly, I think the whole kerfuffle is nerdly overthinking it. Though granted, Chibnall has played it for publicity like a PR Jedi Master. (Or should that be Missy?)
Yeah, I suggested this in the article yesterday, but since I can’t get out of the greys, nobody really saw. I’d call it something along the lines of “Korg and Miek Start a Revolution” with the opening credits song being the Beatles (I bet Disney could get the rights).
They will need to print more than enough flyers if they want his show to be a success. If not, only his mom and her boyfriend will watch.
I could get behind The Korg and Miek Show: Featuring Miek
Isn’t 13 supposed to retain Jodie’s Yorkshire accent? Initial setting some kind of justification (not that one is needed)?
& Cambridge, if you go back to episodes that weren’t aired in the previous century.
Is the catcher trying to avoid getting hit in the face by exposing his unprotected neck?
At what point do you think he got concerned that he’s actually been diagnosed with a terminal illness and this was all an elaborate ruse to make his wish of hitting a MLB Home Run come true?
I don’t know about others, but in my case I don’t think I’m politicizing it. I think the public has the right to ask questions.
Kinda reminded me of the Chiappa Rhino:
I first played through Half - Life in 2005 and even then that tram section blew me away. At this point I’ve played it dozens of times and I get bored, but man if it isn’t a super cool atmospheric start to a game.
I remember booting up Half-Life for the first time 20 years ago, seeing the whole tram intro section and being absolutely blown away.
Now, when I see the section recreated in Black Mesa, here in Project Lambda, or in other fan recreations all I can think is...who the ever loving fuck decided the best possible way to…
What does the rest of it say?!
I think comics make such a small drop in the bucket compared to movies that Disney doesn’t really care about them and are content to allow Marvel to do whatever it wants (as long as it doesn’t get too much bad press).
Disney at the corporate level probably just sees the comics as an IP farm for the much more profitable movies, TV shows, toys, etc. They probably don’t care that much if the comics are a bit of a mess. But if the farm ain’t growing anything new for the movies and is just recycling the same old same old....
There were no sales projections yet — it was only next month that the issue would have gone on sale, which means that there were exactly zero pre-orders, thus no way of knowing how much it could have made.
This is disappointing in and of itself, but put in context of the hell Cain got put through the last time she wrote a Marvel book... Jesus. This is not a good look for the House of Ideas.
