Who pulls into a burger joint, circles the parking lot and exits without buying anything? This seems like the acts of a very lonely man looking for validation.. or something darker.
Considering the government is only buying the plane, not building it, maybe we should be asking if we can trust private companies to handle health care.
I’d rather throw money away trying to save lives rather than take them.
I think it has to do with the federal standard that all braking/turn lights cannot be on a moving area (aka trunk), which is why so many of them are crammed on the corner light section before the trunk. The standard should likely be updated
NASA set up a little restaurant on the Moon back ‘69 when they landed.
Came here for this. Thank you.
There are still plenty of cars without ABS. My last car had no ABS.
I have to say, I’ve done more than one panic-stop in a non-ABS car and I never noticeably flat-spotted the tires. This includes old American cars that suffered from early rear lock-up (which was most of them.)
Don’t get me wrong, ABS is better (except in snow), but it can be hard to maintain and I wouldn’t call not…
I really don’t get the fascination with high revs for something that’s going to be street-driven anyway.
It’s only not in a truck because BMW doesn't know how to build trucks.
“why would I buy a sports car from a farm tractor manufacturer?”
Farm trucks are reliable AF that’s why lol. No point spending the same $80k on something you can’t drive because it’s always in the shop, especially after the dreaded 60k mile mark on newish Bimmer. Plus, the cost to fix the damn thing.
