I offer up my doggie, Sam Aloysius Doodle to comfort. I know I’m getting a doodle hug from him as soon as I get home.

But there was something different about Paul O’Neill. I can’t quite put my finger on it but he Worked hard, played Hard, was really Invested in the Team, and was Everything else you want in a teammate.

My favorite part is when they show his earlier double. He over-slides 2nd base and the announcers said that he “goes into Ryan for no reason” when it a) was a typical over-slide, and b) he didn’t touch Ryan.

The weird thing is, if the Yankees had shown just a little professionalism themselves, they probably wouldn’t have lost 15-1.

Teams currently on track to make the playoffs include:
Mets, Cubs, Pirates, Astros, and Royals. A bunch of fun typically-loser teams to root for! Which means the world series will probably be Cardinals-Yankees :(

Midnight beer math time!

“Neither can I.”

God dammit I skimmed this as “Daniel Snyder”

My God. Tull forever. So many great songs. So dark. Music and lyrics. So often, a good band, even a great band, is really good musically or lyrically, but I always thought Tull was fg amazing at both.

Very disappointed in you, Burneko. I mean, subtle plagiarism is one thing, but lifting your title straight from the Ford Field home locker room walls?

Oh this looks great, I’m so in!

What if a quarterback, hypothetically, has won one Super Bowl, plays on the East Coast, really has a pretty good arm, is tall, has brown hair, and shares a first name with a four-time Super Bowl champion Quarterback from the 1980s? Would you consider that quarterback elite?

To everyone who brings up SB rings, you know who else has 2? Jim Plunkett.

If you ignore their wins, the Blue Jays really aren’t that great.

The pitch + the batter solidly connecting on it = far more impressive than the tap-pass catch-assist.

Last time I played wiffle ball (like 15 years ago when I was 14 lol), I do not recall seeing a pitch at that velocity with that movement. I remember most of them looking like slow, floating knuckle balls. That was

I think you mis-heard him. He was saying that as a Met, he was really inspired by a Pair-o’-Keiths.

On the bright side, at least the tent was open.

See, in my opinion you root for the home team - if they don’t win it’s a shame!
