Yeah it was a USDM only headlight treatment, not just the sealed beam headlights but iirc they were actually pop-up lights that would raise up and face forward by about half an inch to meet US headlight height requirements, rather than raising up the whole suspension like Fiat used to do.

Still don’t understand why they filled in the flying buttresses from the Montecarlo, which was definitely one of the prettiest parts of that design.
