Musk needs to patent the reality distortion field.

Now, I’m not a brain scientist, and even if I was, I haven’t had my MRI scanner working worth a damn for years (it just seems to make people’s hair really hot?)

2nd gear: This is a great idea, because a commercial company will be liable for their own trucks.  That liability will force them to demand extremely rigorous safety protocol testing, if only for insurance reasons.

FCA, soon to be part of PSA, who have been moving forward pretty well on EV tech for about a decade now.  Albeit in city cars, which are their bread and butter, so I don’t know if range has been as much of a focus.  They are one of the original Formula E teams though (the DS in DS Virgin).

Furthermore, I don’t trust any company to do so.

Whoever wins, we lose.

If Porsche had done the less thorough test, given your point about their corporate family’s history (still ongoing, because nothing ever ends now lol), nobody would trust them.

If you could get the $35k model 3 and it did still come with tax credits, it would cost $2500 less than the base model of this thing and still get twice the distance.

You have a valid point, but if you can get 2.5 times the range for a few thousand more than the top level trim from a Tesla, there is no conceivable reason for this car to exist anywhere outside of compliance markets.

The prices are skyrocketing right now.

I need to understand the logistics of luggage on the Grom.

Lifeboats kill more people than they save, which is exactly what would happen if you sold a quad as a car accessory, since those things are horrific deathtraps anyway.  Injuries on those bird/lime/etc scooters are also far higher than, say, walking, which works in all environments, and is free.

Towing a dead weight (which is likely not particularly aerodynamic) over a distance is the problem. Sticking the heavy weight over top of the batteries in a specifically designed container is a bit different. That’s why USPS and Fedex/UPS/DHL/etc are so interested in electric tech that they’re putting their own cash

Mclaren’s reaction to the Hypercar rules and the coming DPi 2.0 rules is interesting, particularly because Zak Brown owns LMP2 team United Autosports:

Ah, that explains why it’s noticeably smaller than the 5 but still has the 2.5L. The new 3 feels smaller than the old one but I couldn’t tell if that was because of the thick new c-pillar making the whole interior feel darker and more enclosed.

Logan Paul is technically an influencer too right?

I always point this out, because I was so surprised when I was told this at a Mazda dealership, but the CX-3 is based on the Mazda2 instead of the 3. The CX-5 is based on the 3, and I haven’t the faintest what this is based on (A smaller chassis 3 with tweaked handling? A body on a 2 with a bigger engine?  Or

Badge-engineered Volvo pickup that never made it off the drawing board.
