As a father of our first baby at six weeks today, I’m FUCKING AMAZED humanity exists. I’m as calm as anyone, very much a live and let live personality and have a hard time getting my hackles up about much of anything, but feeling 100% helpless with a shrieking baby is absolutely maddening.

Is it really a big deal for the VP to cancel an event? I feel like that’s probably the kind of thing that happens all the time.

Parents don’t stop being the people they were before they had kids once that thing pops out so I don’t have a problem with them continuing to enjoy their life.

I mean, it’s an apartment complex. It looks fine, it’s inoffensive and probably fairly functional. I don’t know how many people pick their apartment based on the exterior rather than the location/interior/price, so as long as they don’t look decrepit I’m not sure what the issue is.

If something happened to her on this trip in one of those facilities, what would they do, I wonder. Think anybody’d even be arrested?
