“Totally did not see that coming!”

Not quite but given the androgynous nature of dragons he could wind up being his kids’ mother AND father.

Yes. The Iron Throne was the symbol of the “wheel of oppression” that Danaerys always talked about breaking. She just didnt realize that she’d only do so by leveling King’s Landings and then dying right in front of it.

Will Marchman’s cereal list ever be topped? Also, did you frame that take for him on his last day?

Dick and Ball’s. My Daughter and Granddaughter’s follow Basketball. Totally inappropriate Headline.

Mr. Embiid, welcome to Canada! Please accept this lovely hand-made blanket as a token of our appreciation.

Not today.

I mean he was well within range of the archers/scorpions when he was talking to Tyrion (you could argue everyone on the field was I guess). If Dany’s small force tried to do anything to him they’d have been cut down in a hail of arrows in a matter of minutes. It’s not really unreasonable to have him walk back inside

Seriously. Look at who all the big time casino owners make political donations to.

I feel like Rhaegal could’ve just died last week, from his wounds when he fought wite Viserion. The show has already well established how powerful the scorpion crossbows were last season. There was no need, narratively speaking, to let him heal up just to see him get ripped to shreds by the bolts.

Thank you for your service.

The guantlet didnt even require a snap. Technically he could’ve just thrown Thanos the Bird and wished him out of existence. I get the movie needing more of a visual queue as opposed to just wondering if the gauntlet holder just “thought it” into happening, but really no snap was required at all.

Just you wait for another 6 or 7 years when all of the horribly misspelled versions of GoT name’s start showing up.

Why not both?

The Night King isnt the climax though. He never was going to be. He was a greater external threat to force (most of) the warring factions to band together to defeat it or all die. (think the end of The Watchmen) The climax is and always was going to be the fate of the Iron Throne, and how the major players

I think I’d have less issue with Arya flying at the Night King had she just come out of the Godswood tree, or been wearing the face of a white walker, and not, you know, just seemingly sneaking up behind all of them.

I get where you’re going here about the way the Night King went out, but don’t feel like the criticism of the duration of the overall fight makes sense. The battle was ending quickly regardless. The Dead were totally going to wipe them out in a matter of hours. Either it ended quickly the bad way for the living, or

But the writers of this show are clearly petrified that if they challenge viewers at all—say, by killing Sam, who was proved too cowardly even to be killed in this episode—people will stop watching, and what could be worse than that.
