None except the Three Bears family.

There's also Fraggle Rock, another Jim Henson creation. All the puppets have pronouns, but are asexual, except for the mom and dad Gorg and a mom and dad set of Doozers. Also, Wembley and Gobo cohabitate.

Kermit and Miss Piggy aren’t from Sesame Street.

Other alternatives:

BECAUSE THAT’S HOW YOU GET ANTS.

In the defense of the Sesame Street people, Kermit and Miss Piggy are from a very different show, despite the fact that both shows have muppets. Grover, Elmo, Big Bird, Oscar, etc are not shown as having sexuality either.

I quite appreciate the innocence of their friendship, free from sexual expectations. Like Samwise and Frodo. Boys grow up often in such a hyper-masculine way (discouraged from showing emotion, “man up”, being tough, playing sports, etc.) that seeing close friendships between boys who disagree and then communicate

To be fair, that’s not what he said. He said that’s how he felt about it while writing them because he had no other way to conceptualize their relationship. He’s going to have to put his spin on them- it’s his job, he’s writing for these characters. How he conceptualizes them in his head is not the same as applying

And doesn’t that episode end with Ernie keeping his bed crumb-free, by eating cookies in Bert’s bed?

BECAUSE THAT’S HOW YOU GET ANTS.

My infant who wore Pampers didn’t know who Elmo was and didn’t care. I switched to store brand a while back when the pampers started leaking and those just have stars or squares.

You don’t know what the hair trends were during that time period on the planet Hala, or the effect of Kree/human experimentation on her hair.

She’s flying and shooting goddamn beams out of her arms and hanging with aliens like it’s every day work, and someone’s worried about her hair being tied back? That’s where their suspension of disbelief ends?

YES! Watching the Avengers I have no problem believing that there are superpowers formed from gamma radiation, magic shields, and aliens but watching Scarlett Johansen’s perfect blowout in slo-mo twirling through the air like she’s in a goddamn shampoo commercial when she’s supposedly fighting while undercover in 100

When I started seeing all the posts of “You is kind, you is smart, you is impo’tint” from all the live-love-laugh crowd...

I was in college (northeast women’s liberal arts college where people should know better) when this movie came out and GAH, the number of white women who quoted that phrase around me was ridiculous, especially around finals period.

I was still on Facebook when “The Help” came out, and I was pretty interested in watching it, but then on my timeline, I started seeing who loved it and it became a big nope for me. When I started seeing all the posts of “You is kind, you is smart, you is impo’tint” from all the live-love-laugh crowd, I double dog

My guess would be that they’re well aware of how touchy white people get when ~white savior~ characters are identified as such, so/and they’d rather devote their energy to the more straightforward issue of focusing on marginalized perspectives. The White Savior in this story was glorified for her in-universe decision

I will *always* chuckle at a Rachel Dolezal reference. Thank you.
