Darin De Paul is awesome. He was working with Geek & Sundry on their Twitch channel. They recently changed up their schedule making it more difficult for me to watch much, so I don’t know if he’s still working with them. I always enjoyed him being on the channel though.

I agree that Musk was a little bit over the top with the comment that the media is “killing people,” but I think he is correct to criticize the way the media has covered the Autopilot technology. As you mentioned in the article, there has only been one death that has been confirmed to have been caused by Autopilot,

Obviously, this demo was done in ideal conditions and there are a few things that can be nitpicked. However, the new Autopilot system uses a neural net that will learn and improve the more time it spends on the road. It also uses data collected from all other Teslas to improve the entire network.

According to the press releases that I read last night after the product announcement, the fully autonomous functionality would cost $8k, and lesser sophisticated version can be activated for $5k. That seems incredibly reasonable to me.

If I am remembering correctly, Elon Musk tweeted a few months ago that they are aware that there was a problem with the look of the front of the car and they were going to make some changes.

Dual Core has also been tweeting to other nerdcore artists a YouTube video of what looks like bloopers from a Jeopardy commercial where Trebek may or may not have been drunk. Expect to see this video sampled in multiple songs in the coming months.

In my experience, Overwatch seems to have far less toxicity than most other team based competitive games. Maybe it’s just because the game is still relatively new or because the characters and lore just encourage people to be more courteous than games that feature faceless characters with machine guns, but it seems

This game mode reminds me of firefight or horde modes that we’ve seen in other games before where you just hold of endless waves of enemies. I’ve always enjoyed these game modes and would love it if some version of it stuck around after the Halloween event ended.

The tick rate is >60Hz on PC now. It may still have this problem on consoles but not on PC. The problem may be that the person playing Roadhog has high latency and the server dynamically tries to compensate for their slower connection causing some strange behavior that appears to be tick rate related.

It’s projectile size. Not character hitboxes. Size of the projectile you see is not necessarily the size that the game is registering.

It’s definitely not tick rate. They dramatically increased the tick rate on PC, and Roadhogs are still hooking people around corners.

Thank God it sounds like they are going to nerf this hook. One of the most infuriating things in this game is doing everything correctly and being behind a shield or around a corner out of line of sight, and then suddenly being hooked from nowhere and getting one shot.

As someone who primarily plays tanks, I agree with some of what you said. I think Roadhog definitely does too much damage, but it seems like Blizzard may have quietly given his damage a slight nerf in one of the recent updates. It seems like Roadhogs are getting fewer one-shot kills when they hook people than they

Since the last update Mercy is getting POTG pretty much every game where she resurrects at least 2 people.

Authors rarely have control over the cover art. The publisher probably gave an artist a brief description of the setting, and they did the rest. It isn’t uncommon for cover art of a novel to poorly represent the way something is described.

a) As others have pointed out, this is taken directly from the cover of one of the paperback versions of the book. It wasn’t created by the filmmakers.

She isn’t picked by pros because nearly all pro teams use a team comp consisting of 2 DPS, 2 tanks, and 2 healers, which is the same reason Hanzo, Widowmaker, and Torbjorn are rarely chosen. She doesn’t really fall into any of those categories. She doesn’t do enough damage to replace Reaper, McCree, Pharah, etc. When

I still don’t understand what possessed them to buff Mei. She was already one of the most OP characters in the game. She can immobilize a character with her primary attack, which nearly assures that they die, she can be a sniper with her icicle gun, she can self heal, she can block an entire team from getting on an

That’s a stretch. I don’t see how the name Installation 01 implies anything related to Halo. As long as they don’t use any names or images that are copy-written by Microsoft, there isn’t any grounds to have it taken down. This is no different than the hundreds of Flappy Bird clones on the App Store.

But they aren’t using the name Halo...
