ICU nurse here so I am on the outside looking in, but besides post operative, dental, chronic debilitation (gout/degenerative joint disease/back pain) or trauma, the people who seem to experience downright horrible agony are male patients with cardiac emergencies (female symptoms vary and are many times mistaken for

No.

Where I live, we’ve had city people who had moved to the country sue to silence hens (they lost); sue to silence church bells (partial win: only on the hour, not every quarter). Even sadder, we’ve recently had a super-rich idiot sue to suppress lake cruise boats’s horns - and won.

Will state again for all wypipo: You got free labor for hundreds of years, our folk built all your favorite institutions and monuments and your very gov buildings and houses; we fought and died in all your wars; you raped our mothers and daughters and thus helped create all our colors; you live in a society built on

A couple of additional tips from an orchidoholic (over 100 in a NYC apartment):

Nope.

I know. When we moved from IL to CA people made fun of us because Arnie was governor at the time. But now we are in NC, and it is just one embarrassment after another.

Yeah but at least we’re not Ohio.

I swear, men are so stupid. Zero people want pictures of our dicks.

As a firmly pro-choice vegetarian, I’m sure this guy and I would have a lot to talk about.

Do you not have boiled potatoes?? Okay, yes, I am Irish and here it’s like, one of the two essential components for a default dinner. You just put potatoes in a pot of water and boil the water until they’re cooked, add salt to the water if you want, add butter or whatever seasonings to the finished potatoes to taste.

I work security in a hospital (obviously no violence is accepted), and it’s wonderful in some ways. You’re still very often “customer service”, but if your boss isn’t incompetent, he/she will back you as long as you’re being equally as polite to people who need your services. Good security bosses “don’t take shit”

I’m not going to disagree with your perspective. I was just pointing out that you were also once a “preteen little shitbrat” and will one day be in the cohort of “the rudest motherfuckers around.”

Teens are teens and adults are adults. Whatever we say about you was said about us at your age, etc. And yes, it was also bullshit back then, too.

I don’t want to say it’s rude per se, but when I tried for a second child, it never happened. And that can be difficult and somewhat painful to bring up. All I can say is that I was very lucky to have my son.

I completely agree. I’ve had some rude teens (what is it with hoverboards that makes people turn into total assholes?!), but overwhelmingly them and small children that can talk are pretty polite! Even preteens are.... well, not polite, but generally just unaware at least in my experience.

But it’s adults that are the

Smile and make eye contact. Get off your goddamn phone. Treat people like they are humans and not robot servants. Thank you.

1. Who hurt you?

“They said the president had made his decision and there wasn’t any changing that.”

In other news, the Islamic State’s campaign for a global holy war seems to be coming along nicely.
