Yes, that’s my thought exactly. Every successful fan base finds something to attribute their good fortune to other than luck. St. Louis people are also pretty much the opposite type of people from New Yorkers, so that doesn’t help their popularity with the gawker media crew.

That should have been this site’s “favorite” team, so yes, the Cardinals.

By the way, while there is no way in hell Callahan should finish that check, WTF was Letang doing looking over his shoulder, seeing the check coming, and stopping three feet from the board. This doesn’t change the fact that the play was dirty, but man, have some respect for your own well being.

I was going to guess Achilles snap, only because everyone says that is roughly the most painful thing you can ever do.

I’m pretty sure there is a fivethirtyeight on this or maybe it was Grantland. I seem to recall that the MLB playoffs are the most unpredictable relative to regular season. Maybe that’s why this site’s favorite team has won world series titles with the two worst teams they have ever sent to the playoffs.

You didn’t hear it from me but what if Ben Bishop is a sleeper agent. Dude is from STL and was drafted by the Blues. THINK ABOUT IT!

I mean at the end of it at least one of these teams will still be known as an epic choker. If the Eastern Conference wins, maybe both!

Blues fan here, but I think it is acceptable to root for the Sharks’ Cat

Yep, it’s a fickle game and I’m glad you have a good attitude about it. I fear for a lot of my ‘hawks friends that started paying attention in the past 5 years they do not realize that they have just witnessed an amazing sequence of great teams and great luck. Statistically, the next 5 years will feature more

I don’t know what to make out of the first round series for those two teams: the Blues were an offsides replay and a blatant goalie interference call (I’m sure you disagree) away from sweeping the ‘hawks and the Stars looked well on their way to a 3-0 lead against the Wild when they forgot how to prevent goals.

If I was on the ice for this play I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have been within 20 feet of the play and Trotz would be screaming at me to get off the ice. Or maybe I would have already lost the game by doing my best human pilon impression. I’m not very good at hockey

As a life long Blues fan, “waiting for the next Finals appearance” is the only reason I don’t already have a home made tracheotomy.

Interestingly, in Chicago they stayed with NYI-TB. Thanks to the fact that my girlfriend can’t live without all the Big 10 networks I was able to watch the STL-DAL game on NHL Network. Finally getting some value out of that sports package!

Welcome to my life in Chicago for the past 7 years!

Yeah, that R8 never was big on power (relative to comparables), but the balance, oh the balance.

The issue is that this series is between two central time zone teams and all three of the weekday games have had a 8:42 puck drop. A game or two makes sense, but all of them? The Nashville game getting the early slot is what I think really set him off.

Don’t worry guys, I’m sure this will not be a problem when they attempt to deliver 100 times as many vehicles for 1/4 or the price in a year or two from now. Even if it is a much less complex car, oof.

As someone who lives in Chicago, I have actually seen the replay way to many times. Coyle clearly shoved him with his hand while Keith was of balance, but there was no foot or stick that he was shoved over. It was a ugly play, and Keith fell awkwardly, but there is no slew anything there.

Because it’s a concept car and they haven’t finalized anything yet?
